GAF's Nintendo Discussion, News, and Speculation |OT|

If just sharpness, none. It just seems to be a simple filter that does an absolutely fantastic job.

The other stuff, yeah, it will slow things down a bit.

Well, I finally finished Collection of Mana after playing through all three games back to back. It was a bit exhausting, but for the most part the games were good. Personally, I think Secret of Mana was the best and I had most problems with Trials of Mana. I was actually thinking of getting the remake this April, but after being a bit disappointed with the original, I decided not to. Perhaps I just di not understand all the gameplay in there, but it doesn't do a good job at explaining itself at all. Maybe I'll try with different characters later, much later.

But now, I wan't to play something entrilely different. I'll just finally play through Bayonetta 2 after originally buying the Limited Edition when it launched on Wii U. I have only played a few chapters of it, but I already love how much more colorful and vibrant the game looks compared to the original game.

I know they're probably just not wanting to steal any hype from Animal Crossing, BUT we've been waiting for like 6 months now, haven't we? Isn't that kinda ridiculous? I'm not just spoiled and impatient, right? RIGHT???

I feel like throwing a tantrum it's been so long since we had a Direct.

The 26th buddy it's coming all the insiders are retweeting that article. I guess we will know for sure next week if they announce the Indie direct.

The general theory is they were waiting for Animal Crossing to get out of the way. That is why it is SUPPOSEDLY happening the week after it's release.

Soulslike sci fi action- rpg Hellpoint is set for a release on April 16th. Looks like digital only.

Trailer

If it gets good reviews I'm buying. Need more Soulslike on Switch. The concept and trailers do look awesome though. High hopes for this one.

Pikmin 42020 👀

For reference, a user named themselves Pikmin 42020 and took advantage of Nintendo providing, I think, an automated reminder when AC comes out. A really nice prank. :messenger_tears_of_joy:

At least that's what I understand from reading the comments.

Came across a cool game that's set for a 2020 release. It's called Baldo and it has an awesome artstyle that's reminiscent of Studio Ghibli. The game has been described as a cross between Zelda and Ni no Kuni. It looks great. Here is the announcement trailer in case you missed this game.

Is that the new Studio Ghibli game I saw mentioned in another thread?

Why isnt he bald

Maybe he's wearing a wig? Balding is a sensitive subject amongst most males, especially at such a young age. He's probably trying to impress the girl so he thinks he needs a rocking hair cut. But later in the game she reveals that she don't care about such superficial stuff and that she loves him no matter what. He then throws the wig away and lives bald and beautiful for the rest of his life. Finally he can live by his true name "Baldo".

I hope one day Capcom finds a way to bring these games to Switch. There must be a way, Capcom has no shortage in money, just bring these games here.

No, I don't think Ghibli has anything to do with this game. The game only seems to be influenced by their style of animation. Could be wrong though. I just recently discovered it.

Just ordered Luigi's Mansion 3, Oninaki and Ghostbusters the Video game. Switch collection grows bigger by the minute. Fire Emblem, Hellpoint and Donkey Kong next month. And possibly some more considering the upcoming Directs. My wallet RIP.
