BraveDanjin44 should get a statue for his buddhist patience. I got chills down my spine the second I saw that title, I'm not nearly strong enough to face the inevitable eldritch abominations that dwell within.
Too many truth bombs up in der

Lol, true.Scopa Man you are crushing those Doom games.
I was starting to think up a snarky retort, but then I realised that your post was significantly humorous and deserved it's own time in the sun. He's reliving his early 50s
Jeez man use the spoiler!Just finished Metro 2033. Overall a fantastic game. Superb atmosphere and solid story and gameplay. As an adaptation it was okay, wasn't too fond of the heavy action sequences as it's very little action in the book, and the story went a little too fast at times.
For example, the arrival at Polis, which is the main objective for Artyom and a huge part of the novel, was done in like 5 minutes, which I thought was strange. Also, the different stations you visit, which plays a big part in fleshing out the lore, was mainly just used as a place for stocking up ammo.
It was clear that 4A games tried for a more action-focused approach with big battles against the various monsters and nasty humans you encounter throughout the adventure, than the more somber, tense filled and psychological journey that takes place in the book. But I know, video games gotta video game so in the end, I'm not too surprised that the the developers went this way. Different mediums and all that. On the positive note, some sections were very faithful to the novel and overall 4A paid a great amount of respect to the source material.
I enjoyed this game a lot. Terrific work on the port, it looks amazing with no frame drops whatsoever. It's precisely the game that the Switch needs to diversify its library of games.
Metro 2033 is the best story-focused FPS I've played since Alien Isolation and Metroid Prime, and that's not a small feat to be compared to those two behemoths.
Lol, true.
I've spent the past 2-3 years working through my pile of shame classic games that I never gave a proper play through back in the day. From Lttp to Super Metroid, Baldur's Gate to Doom. I've been doing pretty well. It's been awesome and the Switch has helped immensely.
Jeez man use the spoiler!
I just got the game and never read the books .
The Nintendo thread is hilarious. The amount of edgy hot takes from insecure people is record breaking.
According to Famitsu, which has 4 different reviewers score the game on a 1-10 scale, Animal Crossing: New Horizons is worth a 38 out of 40. Two reviewers gave it a 9, and the other two gave it a 10, so it's pretty clear that the reviewers are pretty much on the same page here!
Courtesy ofHosam6xavi , Game seemed to have spilled the beans on this being part of the next Direct.

Hmm perhaps a direct incoming soonish?
According to Spawn Wave, rumor has it that the Direct will be announced later this week. As always, keep expectations low so you're not setting yourself up for disappointment.
But those are so totally happening! Some random jackass on a random forum said it would!
They gave New Leaf a 39Famitsu's review of Animal Crossing: New Horizons was apparently published. They gave it a very high score: 38/40.

At this point, if EA publishes anything on a Nintendo platform I just assume they were under legal obligation.
I don't know why EA is treating the Switch like this. Their behavior seems irrational considering the products they could have probably ported years ago and easily cashed in on. It looks like a huge miss. Imagine having Sims 3 on the Switch with all those DLC packs.
Meh, after Dead Space they haven't made a single game I liked, at very least Ubisoft give me Mario + Rabbits which I had blast with.At this point, if EA publishes anything on a Nintendo platform I just assume they were under legal obligation.

If I ever catch her wearing any of this shit, the wedding's off.
There's a reason I call her Finger CuffsMan first MHK and now you? I can't keep up with her.
I just don't get that behaviour. I have no interest in Playstation and surprise, I rarely go into Playstation threads. Seems a lot of people can't help themselves when it comes to a platform they hate. They just have to share it with the world
This is good advice for life in general. It's the Internet. Haters gonna hate. Especially if it's successful. Don't let it get under your skin.
Happy Mario Day! In honor of the special occasion, I threw together a quick remix of Castle Theme, one of my favorite tracks from Super Mario World.
Unlike the last two Directs, which focused on specific games (Pokémon and Animal Crossing: New Horizons), the next Direct will take a broader look at the Nintendo Switch's upcoming lineup. Nintendo's first-party slate is the subject of many rumors, and I can't confirm what it will show off. But expect the company to continue relying heavily on remasters and ports.
How much of a hit does the frame rate take when you jack everything up?Btw, I'm not usually a fan of messing with visual settings, but I tried turning Witcher 3's sharpness setting all the way up...
And wow. It's literally night and day, in both Docked and Portable. My every recommendation for this version of the game (and there have been a lot) has included some caveat about the soft blur, but I guess I don't need to bother with that anymore.
To me, that pretty much makes this a fantastic version of Witcher 3, if you're willing to let go of the top-notch visual quality of the other versions, and settle for something more PS3/360 (and it still looks great in handheld).
