Brady left the Patriots

Writing has been on the wall for awhile now. He wanted out of NE for a few different reasons

Couple months ago I predicted he'd go to the Titans, let's see

Yeah, his best days are pretty distant. Age and decline are inevitable. He might play decent for another year or two, but he's not a guy to carry a team any longer. And the untethering from Belichick will do him no favors.

I wish he'd just retired. It'll be sad if he goes two more years, plays badly, and disappears

Did you not get the news? Titans already re-signed Tannehill. I don't see them signing Brady for pennies. I'm still going with the Chargers.

Sad to see him go, I was hoping he would finish here in New England and the day he retires I will celebrate his career and all the amazing memories he gave me, but as long as he is playing somewhere else in another Uniform He is dead to me and I hope he fails miserably.

I have seen all sorts of moves that the Bucs are going all in for him. With Jameis being open this year. The timing is right. If we resign Jameis then we get screwed hard. Honestly I wouldnt even see him doing much in Tampa but it would be a good opportunity to bring someone in from the draft and have him over them.

Yall are gonna acting just like those cleveland babies when Lebron left

That's the biggest load of BS I've read in a while, obviously you don't watch football and know nothing about it.
I think it is true now at his age, he is still a good QB, but at any other team his weaknesses will start to show, one of the main ones being that he really doesn't like to get hit.

I do watch a lot of football. He is in the same system that made Matt cassel look like a top QB in the league.

So your comparing a career backup to a 4 time superbowl MVP? Really! Drew Bledsoe also had good numbers in the Pats system be he never won a thing.

If you put him on a good team with good weapons he'll be better than most starting QB's, I don't think any QB likes to get hit.

Lol...How is he a cheater?
Don't tell me the deflategate clown show.
The whole organization is a bunch of cheaters. The loser Patriots are the biggest frauds the sports world has ever seen. Earned nothing legitimately. They're worse than the Astros, as they cheated for far longer. Just got caught this past year peeping the Bengals yet again. The entire sports world is totally up in arms about the Astros, but people just look the other way with the Patriots.

The Pats are a joke.

That's hilarious, you must be a Jets fan .
If you think the Patriots were doing something that every other team was doing too you don't know football.
Its no secret that all teams did what the Patriots used to do but it's just that all the other teams owners bitched about them winning all the time did Jolly Roger decide to do something.
You sound like a very sore loser.
All that cheating really helped them when they were down 28-3 to Atlanta in the SB.....lol.

I'm not a Jets fan. In fact I'm a fan of the team that last beat the Patriots in a Super Bowl 😎

I have no respect for cheaters, sorry. That's universal. That applies to Lance Armstrong, and the Houston Astros, and anyone else who gets caught cheating. Maybe other teams cheat too, maybe they don't, but they aren't as arrogant(or incompetent?) enough to keep doing it so flippantly and keep getting caught.

A pro athlete is a 365 day a year job. You can't take days off even in your down time. You gotta keep up on schemes and training and all of it. And cheaters undermine that hard work and make a mockery of it because they don't have the balls to earn things fair and square.

Some maybe but the situation isnt the same Brady is 43 and running on borrowed time l. Lebron stil had a little more time on his clock and even if bradys playing well the patriots needed to move on or risk sucking for 5 years rather than 1 or 2. I admit i would love to see him stay and risk sucking for those 5 years but I hope in the long run this keeps New England from going into a huge down turn.

Then you should hate every sports team that ever played pro sports because they all cheat in some shape or form , your very naive to think otherwise.

I just hope the Pats come back with a fresh QB...younger...and win a Superbowl right out of the game. That would be pretty epic

No, I'm saying a below average QB like Matt shined in that system. Brady a good QB that will go down as the greatest of all time because he was playing under the greatest coach of all time. (Ignoring the scandals, the Pats didn't need the scandals to win). His arm is good, his feet suck, his mental fortitude is exceptional which is why he had the success he did.

All a plan to get his family more money, he doesn't need anything but 7 rings would be MASSIVE, we know another year on the patriots he wouldn't have the weapons.

Bad move. Should just retire. People are going to see he was a good quarterback in a great system, not a great quarterback in a good system.

He could throw an interception on every pass from here on out (43 years old at start of season) and still be the GOAT.

There's literally nothing he can do to tarnish his playing legacy at this point.

And I am, in no way, a Patriots or Tom Brady fan.

But,but he was a cheater!?

So Brady vs. Belichick ended up with Brady leaving in the end.

Brady is old now and has nothing left to prove. Hang it up before going to another team exposes just how old and declining you are.

Brady to the Bucs is a clown move.

Everything about the Bucs, from their stadium to their logo to their tacky-ass uniforms, screams bush league

The only legimate criticism I have of Tom Brady is that he's played in the easiest division in football and even that isn't his fault because NY and Miami absolutely stink.

No doubt he's had easy paths to the playoffs, but it isn't like he has only had regular season success.

When I first read the news I said WTF. Thinking about it a bit more, the Bucs did have a good defense and lost most games because Jameis was a turn-over machine. Unequivocally, Brady is a better quarterback and makes much better decisions, but at his current age and skill level, I'm not sure he's the answer the Bucs think he is.

How do you explain the Ravens then?
Sure I think it helps for a playoff run but it can also work against you too.
I'm talking about the whole scheme of things. Baltimore and Pittsburgh have gone to war every time they've met and Cincinnati was decent under Carson Palmer and Chad Johnson. Meanwhile the Patriots have had the company of a team who lost four straight Super Bowls and burned out, one that hasn't been good since Dan Marino retired and another since Joe Namath!

I get that but it's not the Pat's fault the rest of the division suck's balls.

The amount of BULLSHIT in this post. Obviously you don't watch football
Again with this. I justified my post in other posts here. The guy has ice in his veins, and was a perfect match for the pats system, and as a result I'm not going to argue against his resume. But he is not a plug and play QB like Rodgers or Mahomes is.

It'll be interesting how he does in TB because he's got weapons--Mike Evans is a stud, and Godwin's perfect as the no.2. Arians is a smart coach, and they have talented TEs in Brait and OJ Howard.

Still, it'll be weird seeing him in a different uniform.

Even if I lets wanted to say lets wait and see I can't. Brady's age won't allow him to prove me right
