I see the PS5 coming in just shy of XSX in terms of GPU power.
Complete ass-pull but I think they've likely got lower CU counts but will have tried to push the clocks higher to try and catch up. Probably easier to add more copper to a heatsink than to add a bigger GPU.

Well, PlayStation brand is so massive that Xbox can't see the sun when next to it, from a global perspective. It's only competitive domestically.
So even if someone imagines that PS5 will be much weaker (not happening) it'll still silence the xbox hype. Overall, I just hope they kill Lockhart, no need for weak ass console to anchor the gaming industry, although it'll not hurt the main games that I'm most interested in: PS5 Exclusives.
Both being top tier in terms of power makes everyone happy, especially devs, but probably not "current" PC gamers.

That calm reaction from Sony is a clear sign that it will be higher than 9Tf.
I am okay with lockhart, the more options the better. Not everyone can dish out $500-$600
I am equally excited for both, and in my opinion there is no better bang for the buck in gaming out there than gamepass. I also use Xcloud non stop even at work.
They both have completely different strats, and both can succeed. One is in the old school model of buy our 1 box, to play our games, limiting the amount of people. The other has the strat of.....play our games anywhere, our box (multiple boxes), pc, or any device with a screen. You can buy games, or simply have a subscription
so yeah, the more options the merrier. I know for 3rd party games im going xbox, i know if i buy (or on gamepass) a game there i can use it accross all my devices, xbox, pc, xcloud

Your points are valid and Xbox makes the better choice for your indeed/preference. I would upgrade my GPU to Big Navi if some Xbox games seem good to my taste (gamepass/direct buy). Enjoy.

Eurogamer journalist hinted the Xbox series has better specs on Twitter. They likely know the specs already for Sony.
I want to clarify, that I am console agnostic. I am a gamer, and this is my main hobby and passion. I currently have all systems, ps4, xbox, pc, switch, and I expect to be there day 1 on all of them again.
So, either way, I will support both platforms.

I actually HATE microsoft as a whole, but I want Xbox to stick around to push Sony to keep working great. The reason why is the pile of crap most PC users had throughout the years with crappy OS. But that's not our subject here, just to clear out my stance. I would love a Chrome OS in a more mature stage to replace Windows for example.
