Titanic was called the Ship of Dreams, and it was. It really was.
Anything is possible, but I strongly doubt that. Look back at all of Sony's previous major console unveilings. They're ALL completely epic.
Even the console that eventually ran into problems, which is the PS3, was totally amazing at the beginning.
They've been preparing all this time. I think it's gonna be good. But like I said, anything can happen. Let's wait and see.

I still don't fully understand why people suddenly switched to having complete faith in him considering he got banned.

A traditional disk streaming data into fast NVMe would be trans-formative. You don't need to load the entire game into it, only the assets needed at that time or assets needed in the near future. The NVMe (assuming it's fast enough) then has the headroom to feed RAM at ridiculous speed while more data is streaming into the NVMe drive from the traditional / spindle disk. Whether this is pie-in-the-sky stuff I don't know. Maybe the speed of the transfer would not be enough but if you take a 15K speed disk which is around 300MB a second, it seems like it could be doable if we assume no loading and it's constantly streaming.

We should not be insulting each other, or going at each other with personal attacks. If anything, gaming should bring us together on common ground, especially when something can happen to any one of us or our loved ones at any time during this ordeal.

2.. PS1-PS4 backwards compatibility
3.. Much Faster Loading times and starting up for games.
4. Multiple game suspend and Resume (even when turned off and on, confirmed by xbox)
5. Much Quieter
6. Choice to opt for better FPS than Resolution or focus on 60FPS
7. Faster UI/ OS / Store

Well I also figure PS5 to be around 11-12TF but on the memory side I think they have better bandwidth management like not splitting speeds but the size is probably the same for GDDR6. Maybe they may add DDR4 for system so that games may utilize that full 16GB of GDDR6 operating at same peak bandwidth.
Or they will go with unified system RAM pool just like MS, and only in that case I can see 16+ GB of RAM, maybe 20 or 22 GB but I think they will also implement bandwidth splits if they go this way due to different capacity RAM modules and thus not being able to go full bit bus.

Not sure about the on on the right, and I think they'll work differently than Xbox, meaning they'll need to offload prior to starting the game on the main internal for full speed, with it locking like 150-200GB for temporary usage. Then it'll not matter a lot. They can still use same card speeds of Xbox, but that'll be very slow compared to the internal one.

Schreier says this has been Sony's plan for some time now. So I wouldn't read too much into that stuff, honestly. It's like how people were thinking "Sony is doomed" cause they haven't given any indication as to when they were going to reveal more information, or that "Sony is scared" because they know MS has the more powerful box.
What I will say, is that Sony seems to have confidence in their product the same way MS has confidence in Series X. One will obviously be more powerful, but both consoles will be close and have aces up their sleeve.
