Series X is totes a refrigerator and if the PS5 sticks with a traditional look it totally is a 1990's VCR. There--gave you a freebee.
  4. Whatever console you plan to buy has the best controller. Doesn't matter if Microsoft resurrects the Duke or Sony removes their thumbsticks. That controller is 10x better than the console you're not buying. Never forget that.
  5. First party games. Loyalty matters and 1st party studios keep their lights only by you fighting in every Twitter post about how their first party titles are superior. You need not even buy the games that the beauty of it because everyone knows that Naughty Dog care way more about you being a pedantic prick on Twitter about their game to someone who prefers Gears Of War!
  6. Lastly. And probably the most important one. The fanboys for the other consoles are thee worst. They're way worse than your console fanboys by far.

In closing--just have fun with it y'know? Its not considered being an asshole when you are fighting on behalf of a mega corporation that cares only about your money.

Why would it matter, the Switch has its own unique piece of the market and is usually a secondary console for PC/Playstation/Xbox owners.
 
Can't wait for Cerny to go out and pretend some minor feature is revolutionary and how it will change everything.
The only thing different about PS4 at the time was garlic bus between CPU and GPU and in the end PS4 was stronger because just packed better gpu as base.

Which was mainly because MS focused on kinect and made Xbxo as cable receiver which made console much more expensive and weaker.

Now MS is laser focused on specs without bullshit so i don't think PS5 will be able to present anything other than just what MS delivered.

Honestly after MS announcement i was pretty bummed that AMD didn't include any new exciting fixed function hardware other thant RT that could really change the game. I was hoping for physic fixed function hardware such hardware would basically ensure Nvidia was fucked.

It's all about being a good sport, mate. I always laugh at xbox fans memes and gifs. But it's being too sensitive then reacting in a serious, hostile tone that gets more attention. I would welcome more jokes from xbox fans, most of the people here are adults and deal with jokes and mockery in a daily basis. I remember the supercharged PC slides like it was yesterday and PS4 not having system wide supersampling at launch.
For Xbox I figured they would have a dedicated psychics block since they have the patent and own Havok, but they haven't said anything.

I will be OK with $499 or even $599 if the machine ends up being a beast like One X.

But in the end I don't care much about that, I just want to play Sony exclusives with the best quality possible.
 
I dunno why but I feel ps5 is more expensive than series x, something around 50 to 100 us dollar.

And I know cheaper price for Sony is something like signature for they work but my sixth sense tell me it's not a regular console like ps4.
It's will be something interesting like Jason said.

So 1 TF more and some interesting features should be OK for 100 dollar
 
I find the fanboy warz pretty interesting and like to get involved. I have no issues in supporting sony because I have invested a lot into their eco system. It would take a lot of mess ups for me not to get a PS5 in all honesty and I do not have the time to spend on 3 consoles. Switch will always be a 'second' console and that is why Nintendo don't even bother trying to match Sony and MS anymore.
 
Someone brief me: what''s the word on backwards compatibility with the PS4? any believable rumors or indication it'll be A Thing(tm)?

It'll be be pretty boring without xbox fans by the way, people will find something to fight about if it's all sony fanboys: GoW vs TLOU, RDR2 vs Persona 5, etc. Just like vegans go hostile on fuckin food and send death threats over a steak :messenger_tears_of_joy: We just need to roll with it.

Somehow I can feel already, that "most exciting console since 20 years" will be vastly overstated, and we will be having fun with that statement in the months to come.

SeX not only makes older games (even OG Xbox Games) render in 4K but has a new Auto HDR feature that DF called "Stunning to see" In person. The Auto HDR is the first of it's kind and so far, exclusive to MS (unless Sony comes with something similar in T-Minus 4 hours 21min 🙂).
