Yes, I am devoted because they keep bringing out top exclusives and giving us what we want. I do not want to buy a PC with multiple configurations and have to mess around with it, plus I want it under a TV.

That's true though. Looking at the ban list it's very clear, cant find anyone banned for praising sony/bashing xbox, but the other way around? many cases where pro-xbox/anti-sony posters get banned frequently.
And they even make up shit like a dude created like 20 accounts to bash against Sony, which really plays well into the hands of the mods to ban a lot of people. L
No Wonder way more users and journalists are now at era and don't give a shit about NeoGAF anymore.

It's just Sony circlejerk here and nothing else, thats why many many people left, just compare the numbers:

People also get banned for doing nothing but shitting all over the forum and then when the forum's owner and/or moderators can't be bothered with it any more, it gets spun into another muh poor Xbros narrative.

The forum is naturally going to have more people with PS4s because there's about twice as many on the planet as those with XB1s. Use your head.

You're not wrong, yesterday I witnessed over 7+ threads being created based off 2 Tweets (1 from PS, 1 from Schreier).
A lot of it could be contained within 1-3 topics as we don't have anything to go on but those 2 Tweets and the reveal is today.

Yet a thread sourcing Xbox.com that covered different things related to Series X got closed for no apparent reason, when there's even more info to go by.
Moderating is biased as hell these days, I called them out for it some weeks ago, but the post was deleted, hell I've been warned 2x now but the other way around goes unchecked.

On the contrary it is because Resetera bans the crowd that tries to tell a balanced truth, and not be an undercover brainwashing platform for young males for whatever political reasons. You see because of this, the gamers here will be more balanced in terms of demographic, and resetera will be a bit more pro-Xbox (which is more American dudebro style). thing is, America is xbox land and lets face it, Americans on the whole are way more belligerent, militaristic, and just looove exporting their ideology via force than anyone else in the world. so yeah, there is areason xbox fanatics are banned more often then sony fanatics.

There are plenty of Sony fanboys who cross the line and get banned too. They are just less in numbers. Probably has to do with which people were conditioned to tout certain marketing angles and were led to frustratingly spend a lot more money as a result. Just my impression. What do I know.
 
Why wouldn't this forum have a natural PlayStation bias? After all there's more than double the number of PS4s than XBOs and Sony have built up a fanbase through 25 years and four generations of bringing the games and selling half a billion consoles.

Sure they're not perfect, they've made missteps and occasionally have shitty practices but in the end of the day they've built up a lot of goodwill in their community because they deliver.

Xbox have made a lot of good moves lately but IMO are still paying the price for inconsistent delivery over their three generations. They haven't built up the same level of goodwill that Sony have with their customer base. I didn't buy an XBO because MS didnt really bring me interesting games in the second half of the 360 generation, despite the first half being absolutely awesome, and that's after dropping the OG Xbox like a hot potato.

I'm not anti-Xbox but I have a preference for PlayStation because of the above. I'm not alone. I'm absolutely open to a Series X as my second console but they've got to bring the games, consistently, before I would switch my first preference.
 
some neutral third party should make a pros and cons thread listing these things so fence sitters have a resource. Idk if Nintendo should be there given they are hanheld only now, but Stadia should if for no other reason than to laugh.
