I knew the day before we half-shut restaurants that we should have 100% shut dine in. Which then happened another day or two later.

It feels like everything we've done is at least 2 or 3 days later than it should be done.

Florida please step up your actions already.

San fran has been putting them up in hotels. In most post-apocalyptics movies, we see trees and plants and animals take over the city. In San Fran's apocalypse, street cleaners finally get rid of all the tents, needles, and poop. Go figure.

They could do worse. In the 2 hours I watched him, I watched him detail the problems his state is having, the solutions he's proposing, and how he wants to roll it out.

Also very refreshing in how he directly but doesn't directly tell specific media how to go fuck themselves.
 
unemployment numbers are kind of a weird metric since the jobs didn't go away, the people did.

The whole country is hitting pause. Services and corporations aren't failing. It's truly a fucking weird time.

Yea. I'm a server. I still have worked a whole 8 hours of take-out in the last 7 days, but my job isnt exactly gone - Its on pause, as said.

Someone in my family who works at a non essential business got a memo from their boss that said they are exploring the idea of having everyone return to work and check everyone's temperature at the door. This person in my family has asthma and they're scared to death their greedy boss is gonna make everyone come in, even though the city has a stay at home order. No it isn't Gamestop lol, but I'm gonna be fucking furious if this clown tries to pull some bullshit.

I'd also like to know more details too. Have the people this has worked for been tested again and is the virus totally out of their system? Or did it just help repair the lungs? Because that's what I don't get. The virus itself doesn't hurt your lungs, but its your own body that screws up the lungs as a natural defense mechanism gone wrong. And effects of damaged lungs just doesn't go away, that can linger for weeks after the virus is fought off. So I have no idea how the hell overnight he felt no effects. I find that hard to believe that his lungs fully repaired and rid themselves of fluid in a manner of hours.

I'm not sure where these idiots got the idea that asymptomatic means you have a temperature. Asymptomatic is complete lack of symptoms. If someone has a temperature they have already been exposing those around them.

TBH, if the boss has no idea who would do it your relative should contact the Health Department with a tip.

I know, it's completely asinine. And the boss is a prick, greedy and money-obsessed. I had a feeling weeks ago he was gonna pull something like this. The biggest danger besides the damage to the lungs is the asymptomatic nature of it. Taking temperatures would accomplish absolutely nothing.

It won't repair the lungs if the honeycomb scarring is already present. That is actually something no one has talked about - we are going to have a good chunk of people losing 20-50% lung capacity from scarring.

The chloroquine seems to enable zinc ions to easily enter cells and deactivate the viral replication "machinary", just like Zicam does to the regular cold. It just halts the virus.
