No, I think deleting people and arresting them is much worse but I think the aftermath on clamping down on what the government doesn't want people to know is similar. Also this didn't happen just with the hospital supplies also with the navy guy getting fired. We have seen also draconian response to people doing that in the US too with Chelsea Manning, Assange and Snowden. Maybe in China it happens more often but the US is not a saint there either.

Sorry to be cruel, but we are in a world wide pandemic that threatens to kill millions and has cost trillions and in a few months people will be broke, starving, and then god knows what. So if people with that use these drugs are worrying about shortages I dont want to be crass but they are the last of our concerns. If we don't get this thing under control there won't be anyone to ship their drugs, administer them, or they won't have the money to buy them.

Honestly its pretty damn self centered and selfish for these people to start talking about shortages of the drug for people with RA (and I have a form of RA so I am in this fucken group) when 1000's are dying a day and we are bankrupting the world. Talk about lack of perspective.

So far the only things I have seen agains this drug is shortages and Trump talked about it. It's like a condom if the person with the virus is wearing the mask. Masks aren't going to do much just in terms of trying to prevent germs from getting in. Like wearing a bullet proof vest up against a shotgun blast. You're still going to get nailed most likely if someone with the virus is sneezing/coughing/shouting, etc.

It's also effective if you wear it in combination with other protective gear, like the full head and eye protection hospital workers get (ideally).

There's zero point telling people to get masks when they're simply not available. That said, there may be some value in working with those in isolation and asking them to create DIY masks for the country - stitch for Britain - even something with heavy cotton and no filters is an improvement on the status quo and it would fit with the wartime spirit the country is slowly acquiring.

Its more selfish if people just buy it because the president said it would work, and then not use it properly and get even greater health complications. Im all for using it to fight the virus obviously, but you still need medical assistance, not just rush to the pharmacies and get it "just in case".

Had he been quiet, he could have supplied the hospitals with it and doctors would give it when people needed it, instead of yelling that he found the cure and telling people what it is. This creates an unecessary demand for something that people do not need, nor understand, creating shortages for the people that need it.

Sure if you are going to do surgery in the hospital maybe they are useless. Even a F'n scarf reduces viral loads by like 49%. Anything is better than nothing.

To further expand on this N95 masks are the best protection we have when caring for a patient with Coronavirus. We got our shipment of them yesterday in my building. For 30 Nurses we have 20 masks if we get a case of Covid in this building. I mentioned earlier our other building we have cases already. We have people hoarding masks that they don't really need when they should just be isolating at home. I don't know if anyone has checked ebay lately.

I hope it was worth it bigmoneyshawn.
