Yes its bs. Because no one whose supports Trump was listening to fake news like CNN or MSNBC. If you watched the PC or FOX you know Trump was not telling people to drink disinfectants. The only way you would get that idea is if you watched liberal media that mangled his words.
If people 2 days ago werent drinking bleach there not going to start because Trump said scintest and doctors should do some tests. And liberals dont listen to what Trump says and arent going to go drink bleach because Trump said so.
If anything its either BS made up or reporters and other dummies are calling in to create a story.
And keep in mind we are all using way more disinfectants now a days. Some people are crazy enough they wash down their groceries etc.. so mishaps with these chemicals make sense as well as increased interest. But i am sure media is combing through anything lysol or bleach related ready to pounce.

It says businesses will open in Phase 1 in what you linked. Just that they won't open ALL of them immediately as that would be dangerous as social distancing/mask wearing/ppe must still be followed. The entire process of Phase 1 will take 2 years not that it will take 2 years to get there.

In what way will it be like a post apocalyptic scene? from having some buisnesses capable of teleworking from home closed while others reopen to prevent a rabid rebound of Covid, an extremely infectious and dangerous disease?
Phase 1 requires schools and most businesses to remain closed. If they are doing Phase 1 over two years, the state will cease to exist.

Some Graphs. As always, this is US data only. To save space, I've excluded the total cases and logarithmic graphs this time. They show exactly what you'd expect total cases is very high and the curve is very much flattening (this is particularly visible on a logarithmic graph since it shows the numbers in relation to exponential growth. With that. I've added a new graph today that will hopefully be encouraging in an otherwise discouraging set of numbers.
Daily Percentage Growth
The growth is still well below its heights, but unfortunately has plateaued at the 4% range. This is a great number compared to a month ago, but this number needs to keep decreasing to get past these problems. This is even more visible in our next two charts.
Real Daily Growth
As you can see with this chart, we have hit new heights on the real daily growth number. You can see where the plateu has come into the picture. This is an improvement over the growth we've seen, but a real growth in the 30,000 range needs to decrease.
Real Daily Growth Over the Past 14 Days
Looking at the real growth over the past two weeks shows a slight upward trend. Obviously, this is bad news. While we've had some encouraging numbers recently, this is a stark reminder that we are by no means out of the woods yet.
New Chart: Recovered Compared to Deaths
When I graphed these numbers today, I felt pretty good. While our numbers are still increasing faster than they are recovering, at least we have this data. Our recovered numbers are far higher than the mortality numbers. Hopefully, that green line continues to increase much faster than the red line.
Overall, I'm still encouraged by our numbers. We have kept the growth rate well under 5% , but today is also a reminder that we aren't finished quite yet. Unfortunately, as some places are getting their outbreaks under control, we've seen other places with unexpected growth. While this is overall expected, its certainly not something that we want to see.

I was thinking of the great depression and the WPA projects that got us back on our feet after such a terrible economy or during WWII when the women who took jobs in manufacturing, learning skills that were once unheard of for women to hold/do. They produced materials, food, medicine, vehicles, and weapons on a scale that was never seen before while the men were dying on the battlefield. All the while, the citizenry were rationing to the bone and sacrificing to help the war effort.
The U.S. can still produce and manufacture a quality product; the laborers who do it can overcome great odds while making history.

What are you talking about bro? America locked itself down for about a month and got a handle on the virus. Even NYC (though more work needs to be done there). We have increased PPE and ventilator manufacturing to meet our needs (or can import). We all “leveled up”. With mask wearing, social distance and hand washing.
America did a pretty good job at containing this thing once it because apparent it was a problem.
remember, the deal was never that nobody could get sick. It was to not crash the healthcare system. We have done that. Now it’s balancing risk (Like we do everyday with almost all things).

Another positive takeaway is that more testing is going to reveal more positive cases, even if the cases don’t show symptoms.
I think these next couple of weeks, with some states opening up on a limited basis, will reveal a lot on how we are doing.

Thats the problem exactly; its not a 'deal'. When the Lockdown ends its not a 'go back immediately to how things were before'. Seen the pics of people storming the beaches, no social distancing, with no masks? Once lockdown ends and businesses open up; we still have to use masks, socially distance and wear full PPE till Coronavirus is stamped out. It's way too early to declare a victory until we bring the R0 number down.
Doing otherwise will just cause another spike.

It only has such a big effect cause america never bothered to put in a safety net for situations like this; while other countries are using systems like the furlough system (80% of employee wages paid by government during lockdown, 20% paid by employer)
Gloves are as essential as masks. I've seen people stopping glove use and thats worrying.

This lockdown is starting to have some effect on some friends of mine.
