dude... chill, these were cross gen games... not next gen exclusives, not even first party lol was expecting more triple A games, but whatever, inside xbox was never that good in revealing big bombastic content anyway, but at least 120FPS will be a thing, DIRT 5 will have a 120Hz option mode

at least we got to see something.. not only the console itself and everything that's inside of it, but actual games. don't know why people complain. better than absolute silence or not showing anything at all

I liked a lot of what I saw. Some promising cross-gen titles there. This didn't let me down. Saw a few great looking games today

Fairly underwhelming. Should have show gameplay footage if you are promising that. In game engine footage is not gameplay. This felt like a CGI fest, some games had a glimpse of gameplay but that's all, a glimpse.
Pros
- I like the new boot up (understated)
- Smart Delivery is a big plus (Cross Buy is always awesome) Would like to know if you bought AssCreed on Xbox one is there a deadline to redeem the Xbox Series X version say in two years time when upgrading.
- Bright Memory Infinite (I'll be keeping an eye on this. Battlefield vibes with a bit of Dishonoured as well)
- The Ascent looks interesting (a cannon fodder game in Space)
- The Medium (psychological horror) is the biggest one to me that I didn't know of that I wanted.
- Yakuza giving Xbox parity with Playstation (day one game)
- Chorvs (space shooter) looks good. Would like to get my hands on a demo first but I'm open to it.
-Call of the Sea (1st person island survival)
- Second Extinction (not Turok, but likely Turok)
Cons
- Gameplay is not in-game footage. Valhalla was a waste as the painting reveal.
- World Premiere shit needs to go. Just fuck off, like.
- CGI or in-game footage (non gameplay). I lose interest as Watch Dogs burned me before on waiting for Next Gen. I want to see the leap in gameplay and see a glimpse of what power this new console has.
Overall Aaron I wouldn't take the Summer off with this showing. No reason to go Next Gen so far. I'm contemplating holding off on getting a PS5 based on this. I'll revisit it later but meh.
I'd say Phil Spencer was smart to not be in this one. I feel the first party reveal will be the big one. Maybe should have shown one of the first party with gameplay (or put a spotlight on a third party with gameplay). Any third party game with extensive gameplay footage would have killed today.

I promise I'm chill lol, I'm doped up on pain meds after having a shoulder surgery yesterday. I thought my post was well typed out without sounding as if I'm kicking and screaming. I'm mainly a PC gamer but was excited to see what they'd have cause I assume all these will be on PC.
But again they advertised one thing and delivered another, simple as that, does that mean I'm boycotting Xbox products or gonna troll their Twitter account, absolutely not, just wish we would've gotten Valhalla gameplay like THEY advertised.

Yeah i don't know what some people were expecting. Are you expecting 3rd party games to look better on PS5? They won't. I saw a lot of interesting looking games. A few stood out visually. that giger horror game, dirt looked great, Ass creed I'm sure will look amazing (based on how gameplay looks from the previous games). I still need time to digest the others. There were more horror games then i was expecting.

Cover up your bias its showing and its exposing you. Everyone is shiting on these games because they are on a MS show no other reason, you know it and every other fan boy in here as well. The truly hilarious thing is these are multiplat games you will be able to play on the PS5, but its cooler to shit on them. It reeks of just miserable people that can't be satisfied with anything.
And what a surprise the Mod pulls a Hudini once again when its a true shitshow in another Xbox related thread that gets trolled. Its like they pretend not to see this coming from 1000 miles away.

Yeah I liked a lot of what I saw too. Medium looks interesting so does Vampire the Masquerade. I want to see more of Chorus I thnik it's called and Valhalla looks amazing gameplay or no. Besides we already KNOW what the gameplay is in an AssCreed game.

I THINK they should have showed/revealed the Mortal Kombat DLC and showed recorded matches running on Xbox series x. They should have done something like that with a bunch of games. I mean I get it that a majority was indie developer, and smaller third party partners outside a few. But feels like they could have had pre=recorded gameplay with all xbox sereis x whistles on it, then had people talk about it. Like a recording of Dirt race, and shown people like Digital Foundry going over it.
When you say first look at next gen, I think even with tempered expectations there some expectation you'll see something you didn't know about either it be the game or something about the system.
This was not a good look.
Hope Sony doesn't have similar issues in their event, if they do, its going to be rough pill to swallow for next gen.

Not the worst showing ever if you just had every game trailer play one after another there was maybes 20 mins of games in total. It looks like that this upcoming gen is going to be more of the same.

Bloodlines 2 is one of my most anticipated games. My only issue with the trailer is some of it looks really sharp and next-gen-ish but other parts look noticeably lower rez (the victim dancing in the club looks worse than the goons you beat up outside, for example, almost like this trailer showed different versions of the game at once)
I don't have a list but all the trailers have threads on the first page of Gaming section, easy to scroll through.

I voted 'C' on Keighley's Twitter poll. Reason being that I wanted to see AC Valhalla gameplay, and they talked about it saying it was gameplay, but it wasn't at all. If they had even 5secs of actual footage from the game the show would have garnered a 'B' rating and pretty much fulfilled my expectations.
