Maybe I'm being unfair but to me it's peak laziness to not give yourself a custom avatar on a website like this, it was the first thing I did when making my account, why are people fine with these garish colored boxes with just a letter in them? It feels like they're purposefully designed to make you WANT to replace them, am I nuts?
 
So I made bacon and eggs right...and I'm eating it right...and then I finished it. And I was like mmm that's good.

Had coffee too.

WHAT THE FUCK THAT MAKES YOU FEEL OLD. Let me tell you about the time I caught the ferry over to San Francisco. I needed a new heel for my shoe, so, I decided to go to Sissyville, which is what they called San Francisco in those days. So I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time. Now, to take the ferry cost a nickel, and in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on 'em. Give me five bees for a quarter, you'd say.

Now where were we? Oh yeah: the important thing was I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn't have white onions because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones...

I like how they Scarlett Letter themselves, though. Someone who doesn't care enough about the site to throw together an avatar in two seconds, generally isn't bringing their best, or isn't here for above-board purposes.

The fact that there's about 3 good letterposters, and the rest are an abominable trashfire, provides the backing for that.

There's always been shitposting in here, but funny, enjoyable stuff that created friendships and was a blast to read. People actually creating their own content and socializing.

This is just... shit posting. And it's making what was formerly one of the most fun threads on the site to read, a complete non-starter.

I've gone from being in here every day, to just knowing it's going to be the exact same spam shit, and not caring anymore.
