I haven't looked deeply into research or anything, my basic understanding though is that it is better for the body than sugar and I just avoid aspartame at all costs because it gives me a headache. Stevia doesn't. Some people are super picky about how it tastes, I used to really love the Coke Life which had half of the normal amount of sugar taken out and replaced with stevia, tasted great to me but a Coke fiend I work with said he thought it tasted like medicine. YMMV, worth a try though maybe.

I like the taste of this powder creamer I have but I was surprised by that as it says no sugar. So I expected aspartame but when it wasnt there I was like hmmmmmm.
