Maybe i'm misremembering but...those rolls recoveries are looking hella fast for wearing that armor and don't remember being able to tank that boss with that shield....
Cant fuckin wait. Gonna get an oled for this.
Aye. I suspect it's a trade off to mesh with the original game mechanics. Unless they've transferred that to the haptic feedback.Graphically looks amazinag, but the gameplay left me thinking... where is the weight? The dude is in heavy armor and rolls like a thief wearing rags.
And the same for attacking and blocking, seems to need some more feedback.
Hope it doesn´t turn out to be a casualized Souls, because otherwise it looks reaaaally good.
Xbox owners have nothing like this at launch![]()
Yeah, it will probably feel better when playing but based on this video feedback and weight haven't improved since the reveal.Aye. I suspect it's a trade off to mesh with the original game mechanics. Unless they've transferred that to the haptic feedback.
Who would choose 30fps?!
It's common sense. The developers set the parameters, not you or your desires. Dynamic 4k60 obviously drops below 4k otherwise it wouldn't be dynamic. Who is to say some areas can't go as low as 1440p?You seem to have a quite flexible sense of logic.

Good point, maybe (probably, or so I hope) a normal character will have a harder time rolling in full armor.Bear in mind that they're using a promo build for the gameplay with a character with maxed out stats. That'll heavily affect how the player character responds to attacks.

So the very 'possibilty' of the resolution dipping to 1440P in specific scenes (we do not know the range of DRS by the way) makes Demon's Souls 4K DRS=1440P?..It's common sense. DF were basing their assumption from a single screenshot which they said was 1440p but the others were all native 4k.
My character in NG+ was just like that... I did a pretty fast playthough.Maybe i'm misremembering but...those rolls recoveries are looking hella fast for wearing that armor and don't remember being able to tank that boss with that shield....
Game looks outstanding, just wish I cared for Souls games.
That being said, I'd almost wanna get it just to give it a try again, but I know how that will go, lol.
The original has weight... to reach some parts rolling you had to remove the armor.Graphically looks amazinag, but the gameplay left me thinking... where is the weight? The dude is in heavy armor and rolls like a thief wearing rags.

In the older trailers the devs said they had a hack character which had infinite endurance and wotnot. Probably the same thing. The original has weight... to reach some parts rolling you had to remove the armor.
He get pretty slow even rolling with heavy armor and weapons.
Rumor around the campfire is that there is an added difficulty slider
ummm I dunno, the game looks good, but every video i see the player is only fighting one enemy at a time, and the environments seem fairly static. Boss battles seem nice, but I don't think it looks better then gears 5 in 4K. might just be me, but people tend to over hype exclusives sometimes.Xbox owners have nothing like this at launch![]()
No and I wasn't trying to say that.So the very 'possibilty' of the resolution dipping to 1440P in specific scenes (we do not know the range of DRS by the way) makes Demon's Souls 4K DRS=1440P?..
Edit: I am not talking in context of DF.
Sure okay then, your original "that's the same thing" comment was a bit confusing. No and I wasn't trying to say that.
