What is the status of your next-gen pre-order?

Best buy charged my debit card for my series X and says "preparing for pick up on Tuesday", PS5 not charged yet but status says ready for pick up on the 12th.
 
My Series X showed up today from a Walmart preorder, which was a nice surprise since it still says processing on the website.

I've been playing Wasteland 3 so I guess that's what I'll download first and hopefully see some much better loading times.
 
Got the Walmart delayed email about my XsX just now. Luckily I ordered another from Amazon that says it will be here on the 10th. I also have a Walmart PS5 on pre-order but no notice yet. The PS5 I ordered direct from Playstation has been charged and I will get it on the 12th. Glad I ordered 2 of each.

I gotta be honest....I picked one of them up and I really do not like them. I have a larger head and the ear cups feel tiny on my ears.

For comparison I had no issues with the Gold Headsets....but for whatever reason these do not feel great.

Unless they do something special with the 3d audio stuff (but my impression is that any headphones can give you that experience, right?) I would say skip them.
I ordered a set of the Artics 7X as well. If they are better I plan on getting rid of my Pulse. Will sell it on the Neogaf marketplace so keep any eye out if you want a pair?

I'm not sure which is more unbelievable - the fact that you got a PS5 pre-ordered from fuckin Radio Shack, or the fact that your delivery date was moved forward to launch day.
 
Box.co.uk sent me the below, fortunately my son has decided on PC upgrades instead

"We are very sorry but our initial allocation of PlayStation 5 Consoles has been smaller than expected.
We are allocating stock on a first come first served basis and unfortunately your pre-order is not in the first wave of stock arriving for delivery on Thursday 19th November.
We are expecting a second wave of stock around the 9th of December. "

My PS5 and XsX are out there, they exist, they just aren't in my entertainment stand yet. By this time next week they will be.
 
Sony direct took my cash. Never been so happy to see 537 dollars leave my account. Says preparing for shipping so letttttsssss goooooooooo

which wave did u pre order? i pre ordered first wave for the ps5? would that affect chances of getting delayed being slimmer? my status has said arriving nov 12th since I pre ordered and I asked customer support last week. They said it would ship on the 10th and charge and arrive on the 12th. But I am not going to fully believe them because I doubt they really know.
 
To be fair...

Radio shack changed its name here in Canada to "The Source"

When bestbuy, Ebgames and Walmart were getting nailed on Preorder day. The Source's website worked like a charm with no loading errors and stock for a few hours.

For any Canadians looking to buy one online and pick it up on the 12th. You might have more success with them.

Still on track for launch day for both - XSX from Amazon, PS5 from Target.

Made a decision though to give the PS5 to my wife to give to me for Christmas. Seems stupid to try and give enough time to two new consoles in a few days, and neither have anything new that is must play. Will work on my Xbox backlog until Christmas, and pick up some stuff in the Black Friday sale for PS4/5 (not that I'm expecting PS5 discounts).

Also getting the new iPhone on Friday so next week was getting out of control lol.
 
Ps5 from Sony México, preordered the moment it went up back in the 16 of sept, was charged that very second, but it stil says "payment aproved", I have no clue whether I will get it release day or if they will ship it that day

My walmart PS5 order still says "preparing order - tracking available soon". I will not be pleased if I get an email with some BS.

My Microsoft store order already has tracking. Sitting in Ontario.
 
Wasn't expecting to ship this soon, I know it won't arrive until launch date but I was expecting it to ship about 3 days before not a full week.

Depending on where you are in relation to their warehouse it could ship a day or two before release. If I remember right my PS4 shipped right before midnight the day before release.

got it, i'm an hour and a half from a major distribution center, so i guess its still possible. thanks!
 
Just got Amazon email. Demon's Souls arriving 12th. Great, now where is the email for all my other games? lol I did the 2 day trick and it updated my order to PS5 arriving the 12th, but sadly no email confirmation on it yet either. Come on dice..

i got charge today, and btw yesterday got the bank blocked the payment had to talk to them (previously told them to not block it) had to talk to a manager then 3hrs on skype with playstation support a lot of disconnection and the time against me cuz they told me i hade 12hrs to make the payment glad it went through xD

Argos (large UK retailer): Preorder still in track for launch. Feeling good about this one.
Box (unknown retailer): Emailed me yesterday saying they didn't have enough allocated for launch.

Looks like I'll get a PS5, but my bro will miss out at launch.
