What is the status of your next-gen pre-order?

Just got a text from Best Buy saying my PS5 is ready for pickup. The website is very sluggish right now as it's officially past midnight. The demand for next gen consoles is unreal.
 
If I did not know about the FedEx app, I would not no wtf is going on with my walmart order right now.

It's so damn ridiculous that my status on that website hasn't changed at all and I haven't been charged yet. They really do need to get their shit together.
 
So my Amazon PS5 (and DS Remake) now have the status updated to Shipped. Still arriving by 8pm, but I wouldn't be surprised if they delayed it. No change to Target order.

How are you able to track it? I wasn't given a tracking number.
 
Although Amazon has shipped my Miles Morales and PS5, I didn't receive the shipping confirmation e-mail for the PS5 until 6:26 p.m. last night. They are definitely on their way, though, and they have tracking numbers. I can't believe this day has finally come. I hope everyone has a great first day with their PS5! :messenger_beaming:
 
Congrats to those who were lucky to secure one. I suspect the over/under when we peasants left out in the cold can secure one wont be until late spring/early summer 2021.
 
I finally got the shipment email from GameStop for my ridiculously expensive XBox Series X bundle. Originally, they said it may not arrive until Tuesday the 17th, but FedEx updated it and are now estimating my delivery to be this Saturday! ♥

This gave a lot of people hope, but sadly they never went live. More than likely it was DDoS protection software kicking in after people refreshing webapge.

EDIT: They did go live and after sweating a bit, I got mine.

Got my XSX yesterday, but I only had time to set it up and start transferring/downloading games. I only briefly played Ori 2 in 6K mode, looked fantastic.

Great console, almost silent but packs a lot of power. It's also quite compact but heavy, dense and feels substantial.
 
Twice tonight I was able to get a PS5 digital in my cart and it disappeared while putting in my credit card info.
These damn things are the hottest thing since Cabbage Patch Dolls.
Oh well, it'll make me appreciate the one I already have coming more even if it is disc version.

Amazon just charged my card. Have a tentative date of Nov. 13 -16 but that only showed up when I did the shipping trick earlier in the night. Hopefully I get it by later today.

Unless there shipping tracker is lagging behind what's really happening.. my ps5 is still in kentucky but it's now sitting in Independence KY... It def ain't coming today. It's took them over 5 hours to get that shit from Louisville, to Independence.. I hope it comes tomorrow even like they say it will. Slow fucks
 
All good, both sitting under the TV. I am one of the silly people who fell for the tight HDMI cable on the Ps5. First boot was a failure and I had to use a USB stick to patch the OS. Took me hours to figure out what was going wrong. Happy camper here.
 
My Walmart Pre-order just went from preparing order to deliver by end of day tomorrow and I can track on fedex. Im in Boston.

It seems walmart finally updated. Walmart also says it's coming tomorrow. No charge yet tho

Mine is in Kentucky right now, but I live in West Virginia and it's UPS not FedEx... And it's scheduled to arrive here today by 8 p.m. I hope it gets here around the usual time of 12-2 p.m. but I think that's being optimistic.
 
UK gamer here... received my copy of demons souls today and now looking into how I can freeze myself for this final week until the PS5 is released! Never been so hyped for a new gen. First time buying a console day one.
 
WalMart finally showed mine as having shipped last night. This morning, it is already in-town and on a truck for delivery. Best of luck to everyone else!

I got an email from GameStop to reserve a PS5 console upwards November 19th I'm really tempted to buy one only to play my PS4 backlog on it ;)
