There should be some goodies inside, just like with Xbox or PlayStation edition. Postcards, patches etc. if you're interested. I personally went with digital as I want to pre-load the game and play it the second it releases. I will get physical at a later date.
 
Guess it is time to come back for the most hyped game this generation. Hope you are doing all well.

And I am really pumped for Cyberpunk XD
 
Jesus fucking christ. My good friend has Cyberpunk early from suppliers fuck up and he is to scared to play it before official release because hes afraid they will ban his playstation account. How to assure him that it wont happen?
 
After watching the 3 hour stream i'm 100% sure the meltdown after the release will be much more entertaining than the game itself. Buckle up, mates

because of the Perforamnce? The Day 1 Patch is not even out yet. People say its running fine except on PS4 and XBOX one.

It ran like a dream mostly without the day one patch in that stream! A few minor bugs but nothing game breaking imo and it ran a buttery smooth 60fps (I think it was recorded at 30fps but you could tell it was 60fps native gameplay)

Also the writing is phenomenal!
 
Releasing on the day of The Game Awards. That will probably fuck viewership pretty hard.

I'm willing to bet Geoff will get his revenge by making sure it doesn't even get nominated for the next one :messenger_winking:

Hype level increased! I'm still not sure in what language I will play it. English? Spanish? Polish? I think I will go with Polish as it was originally written in Polish and then adapted to other languages. English for a second run to hear Keanu Reeves as Silverhand.

I think that was PS5 footage of the PS4 Version. But I might be wrong. I have not watched as much footage since I want to go in pretty blind

It seems really well acted in each language, I have watched French and English so far and both were great

Iv seen some ps 5 gameplay and it looked really great, hard to believe that its backward comp vewrsion with ps 4 assets. 60 fps is doing god's work

You are right, it is the PS4 native version but with perfomance modes and quality modes for PS5 available.

Also both modes run at a much higher resolution than the PS4 base version with a significant reduction in pop in and LOD /world streaming issues.

60 fps, and next to no pop in/LOD/worldstreaming issues make this game a dream on the next gen systems.

Anyone playing this on an HDD is gonna have a rougher time for sure.

It won't happen but he should wait for the patch or else he's just gonna get a bad tech demo

Nomad is the boring best option for simple reason that you both you and the character won't know the city and it's likely that intro will give you the most 'welcome to Night City' vibe and info.

I am definitely going to replay. But not decided which path gets my second playthrough.

Kind of like the idea of Corpo as will be most unusual and biggest contrast.

Will probably be male nomad with heart of gold on first playthrough and then female corpo bitch on second.

It isn't illegal to play the game early, he has every right to play his physical copy, even CDPR commented on early copies and only asked people to not stream.

I've had my decision locked on playing as corpo for the last 12 months but now we're 3 days away I'm starting to think maybe nomad so I can enter the city for the first time..... Blaah

I know that feeling. OI wanted Corpo too but then I also love car heist movies like gone in 60 seconds or Fast and the Furios series. So maybe street kid? Man these decisions. If I only know how important this choice would be...

So how the heck does preload on GOG work if there is no DRM? What is to stop people loading the game up to play once it's downloaded?

do they just not give you the .exe??

They might deliver it encrypted, and then ship the key for decryption on release, I'd say. That's what I'd do. I don't know what they usually do though.
