PS4 size is 102.447GB

Man, two years ago that would have taken me over 25 hours to download. Now, I expect it to be done in under 4 hours.

It's still not as impressive as others, but I'm happy that my country has been catching up speed-wise.

Grateful to have an XsX, but this is the first game in over a decade that's made me want to build a gaming PC. I envy y'all with beefy PC rigs ready for CP2077 👌.

It is December 9th, you sit beside your shiny PC/Console awaiting those final few minutes of the Wednesday night to pass. There it is, 12:00am, however before your game unlocks, you get a notification of CDPR posting a tweet consisting of black text upon a yellow background, you go onto your Twitter to check the post out, it reads.

"Welcome to Night City, Cyberpunk 2077 is out now worldwide!"

they've seriously messed people up with that yellow colour. i thought it was cool at first but every time i see it i feel nervous.

a dutch gaming site just said they have their embargo lifted on the 9th and wil only release a impression first because the game is so big for them to do a full review
That is so weird, I guess these patches must be important for the reviews?

The leaked gameplay has made me want this game more than even I thought imaginable, reviews are just the icing on the cake.

Man you guys are so lucky to play it at release. I have to work early in the Morning so no time for me. until probably the weekend or Friday evening... I can not even watch the gameawards live....

There is NO Way they will delay it again but giving the early impressions pre patch I am really glad they did because the difference seems to be nght and day.

Nope, three hours in the review of the first 16 hours comes through i.e curated and partly embargo'd review drops which will result in many previews and review in progress nonsense form the big sites. Not sure how this will work with smaller sites but I know places like IGN and Gamespot aren't going to but up a full review on a 16 hour embargo. Feels like the TLOU2 treatment which is partly why I cancelled my preorder but then again nothing they've said has been true which is why I pre-ordered again, they're fucking with us and intentionally being confusing at every turn or at least the boardroom members or whoever is giving the final go ahead is cause the people working these jobs don't know what the fuck they're talking about half the time and have given straight up false information, whether intentionally or like the last delay their bosses have a different plan. Must be a right stressful job being in those positions right now.

EDIT: Ugh, you edited your comment while I was replying. I was referring to the embargo release in three hours.

i didn't think it'd be delayed again. just saying the colour gives me fear lol. now it's full steam ahead for release i can start to recover haha

They're legit playing mind games and cold war style propaganda with the release of this game, lmao. I've never seen anything like it and don't know if that should be worrying or relieve the worry I already feel about this game.

This is probably the most hyped game I have ever seen. But also financial wise. Thanks to the hype around Cyberpunk. CDRED is now more worth than Ubisoft or Bethesda. Its insane.

You PC gamers are getting the shaft with these releases.

Still don't see the hype honestly. Will Definitely pick it up on sale once the next gen patch is released tho. I hope it lives up to everyone's hype I just dont see it doing that....
Then it's probably not the game for you. I think, at least in my case, the hype is around the cyberpunk setting. If you're not into that then I don't see this changing your mind.

Oh shit, they're publically traded. The poor bastards, their money is more in the hype and reception of the game than the game itself. No wonder they're acting like cold war spies, they're actively trying to put a valve in the hype and release some of the pressure and set expectation without their investors getting scared.

I suppose this kinda relieves the worry and anger over how this is all being handled but man, I'm still hesitant as all fuck right now. I really want this to be good. Still CDPR went and cashed in good will like a currency and from now on they'll continue to do it, massively saddened by this.

Way overvalued, if whatever expectations they/the market have aren't met then shares will drop quickly I'm expecting.

Guys, can't wait to play the game but how will it run at 1080p? Guessing It'll be fine at that resolution, but still:

i5-4590, RX580 (8GB), 16 GB DDR3.

I don't play games a lot these days, if anyone can give me an estimate on how it'll run and if I should blow 60 bux on this shit with this computer that'd be nice.

That i5 might be a bit of a problem, otherwise it'll be alright I think.

He means that consoles will get it at midnight local time, while pc is a worldwide simultaneous release several hours later.

Not as good i fear. While the GPU is fine the CPU is a real problem

I'm so torn.
I want to play this on my OLED with my XSX or PS5, but also want it to not luck like a blurry mess.

I could use my 3600x/2070 build and rely on DLSS, but then I don't get that sweet sweet OLED.

You should be okay, a little less than medium, as long as everything is neat and tidy. If I were you, i'd factory reset and put a pause on Windows updates and all the crap or do a full defrag.
