Well, hopefully this will serve as a lesson for CDPR. Do not release a game until it's finished and don't mismanage your studio and the employees.

Wow, did not expect that to happen, especially considering that Sony's usually pretty slow with this kinda stuff. This must be a special case scenario.

Shame others games like Fallout, Anthem, Crysis Remastered, Skyrim and AC: Unity don't got the same treatment before.

Anw, big win for consumers. This shit should not even get passed.

I really really hope Sony put a permanent refund system.

Bravo sony. Thank you so much for not allowing that shady company to boss u around

So strange. I feel so disconnected from the controversy. On PC I have really been enjoying the game. But it looks like an entirely different reality for console users.

Sony should have picked up on this and not allowed the game to release. They do their own QA before they release patches/DLC/games onto their store so I'm surprised it wasn't caught earlier how bad of a state the game was in. CDPR also is pathetic in releasing this game in this state after so many delays clearly this thing needed to be in the oven for another 6 to 12 months.

Also, Sony needs to update their refund policy because it is horrendous. Both companies failed this time around.

Big oof.

Sorry CDPR, I love your game, but releasing it the way it did on last gen consoles is far too unacceptable.

Good luck, you're going to need it.

Lmao what? Skyrim was never that bad compared to Cyberpunk on last gen. A weird bug killing a save 150 hours old ain't as bad as being unplayable day 1.

Something something Anti Consumer Sony.

In all honesty I love the 10 hours I've played. But I'll take my refund. Even playing on PS5. I'll come back when it's done.

CDPR's next game isn't touching a Sony console

Maybe that's for the best. I can't help but wonder how much more polished the PC game would be if they didn't have to spend dev time targeting ancient hardware.

Also, this refund isn't conditional on time played.

CD Project Red shifted a bit of the Cyberpunk outrage onto Sony with the refund statement. They are trying to get consumers to invest $500 into their console and did not want their refund policy to be the talk over the holidays. I would imagine they're pissed.

It's because the sjws at Sony Don't find it woke enough or preemptive damage control/vindictiveness when cdpr inevitably gets bought out by Microsoft. Or both.

This seems to set a bad precedent. There are a lot of worse games than Cyberpunk being sold on PSN... For all the crap it gets, its still better then all the shovelware and random crappy anime games that release constantly.

this is so sad

a lot of hard work went into making this game

game devs can look at this as a lesson i guess

you gotta make your games interesting and engaging before anything else

i've been watching cyber punk vids on youtube and they boil down to cruising in a car and that's where it stops being exciting
