Leon should cruise here. I mentioned in the other thread, biggest variable is if Leon's affected at all by Covid. Specifically his cardio.

I dont think Diaz has checked one kick. He's getting demolished. He'll probably last the 5 rounds as the Diaz guys have great endurance.

Edwards looks like he's as fresh as round 1.

Wow!! What a finish! Edwards wins the decision, but Diaz wins psychologically and in the fans' eyes by having him so close to a finish right at the end of the fight.

Damn, Edwards put on an absolute clinic for 95% of that fight, but he gets caught with one shot and gets wobbled and now that's the story.

lol nate should've stopped playing when he wobbled him could've put him away
I legit felt like Nate did what he came to do, make an entertaining ass fight, and felt like Leon deserved to win and get a shot at the title.

He had all the time in the world to knock Leon out, but he pointed his finger and said "look, I gotcha wobbled, what's up?" before moving forward without raining hellfire.

I'm probably definitely wrong though, but it's my head canon lmao

I should have bought tickets to this shit. I went to the last 2 here and this one has not disappointed.

Edit: Moreno's Wife👀

Pumped for this one. I don't see it going any different to the first ie a win for Adesanya with superior striking and ability to neutralise Vettori's offensive grappling; I'm quietly hoping for the upset just to keep things interesting, but happy for a win either way so long as we get a good fight.

Nice timing with the takedown by Vettori, but wasn't able to do anything with it. Adesanya picking him apart on the feet and Vettori started to look a little desperate with reaching punches towards the end of the round.

Vettori is highly disappointing this entire fight so far.

Edit: only because he was talking a big fight.

I find it amazing in any MMA fight when a fighter doesn't check leg kicks all match. You'd think with all their training they'd change up defence strategy after a round of getting whacked over and over again.

But some just keep eating it and eventually go down.

Jon Anik is right, Martin isn't fighting like he's fighting for the title. It just seems like he's fighting another normal match.

And after Moreno winning the title with so much and passion, it shows.

Ugh, a dud of a main event. How unfortunate. It is really weird how checking leg kicks or punching to the body are foreign concepts for some fighters. It's not like getting your leg mauled is an uncommon thing or that body shots haven't been shown to be effective in combat sports since the beginning of time.
