Internet gets behind Brendan Fraser comeback

This is one of the few cases when it doesn't bother me reading that the internet as a whole is "doing something". He's a very charismatic actor. I hope he can get his career back on track.
 
I'm rooting for him too.

I've always loved Fraser ever since Encino Man. The Mummy has to be one of my favorite summer blockbusters of all time. Just a fun movie and he was part of the reason.

So glad to see him on the comeback after all that happened.
 
He was great in those mummy films. I also find it crazy that someone can assault him and yet he gets punished. What a crappy town. Sounds worst than working at Blizzard.

Yeah he had to pay alimony based on his peak earnings when he wasn't getting roles anymore. Sent him broke

Then everyone was making those sad Brendan Fraser memes of him the week after his dad died

He seems like a great bloke who everyone has treated like shit
 
Like pretty anyone, I don't personally know him - but as a divorced man, I wish him well.
He could lose some lbs for his health though. It seems like he led some unhealthy lifestyle.
 
It's a shame, it feels like we've been robbed of so many good Brendan Fraser movies, and let's not forget his time on Scrubs.

That's what always comes to mind for me, I love that storyline. Makes a little guest appearance once, then reappears a year later for that story. Genius. And he's perfect in it.

Trivia I got from the Scrubs podcast: he's genuinely into photography, and that's his own camera he uses. He got Zach Braff into photography after that.

Wow, I had to look him up because I didn't recognize him. I've thought he was a talented actor, but for some reason not an actor that I ever feel interested in watching. Just a matter of taste I guess.

That being said, I didn't watch the video. What happened to him that took him away from the screen for so long?

Brendan is a better actor, he isn't built like a tank so would work better in family friendly films. The rock is a charismatic man. But I feel he is playing the rock all the time.

I love the guy but he did burn himself out by doing a shit ton of movies in matter of a few years. Some really bad.. so I'm not sold on the harassment as being the reason he fell out of the lime light. A few bad movies and too much exposure probably had more to do with it. It's not like he hasn't been working this whole time. A quick look at his IMDb shows he has.

Right Wing Scottish Drinker Guy giving focus to The Mummy was the best video he's done in fucking ages. Loved that movie as a kid and love it even now.

Is the Looney Toons movie he was in that bad?
 
Man, I was looking forward to seeing him at MegaCon in Orlando.. but I'm not going because he canceled and because of the COVID situation here.
 
For some reason, one of my favorite movies is Blast From The Past, which he starred in. I have always genuinely liked him and am glad to hear things are looking up.

This my guilty pleasure also bedazzled. Always wondered why he disappeared and when i found out it really drive home how crappy Hollywood is.

But I did enjoy California Man, Blast From The Past & School Ties.
I absolutely love With Honours with Joe Pesci
He is very talented actor as evident with the diversity of genres he has done, comedy, drama or action he can do it all.

Critical made a video about Fraser's status a while back and it's absolutely hilarious.
