50 is also a total piece of shit, but at least he's entertaining and made good music.

The doc was good though... it's funny though since it came out I've see a lot of comments online like "Oh NOW everyone thinks Diddy sucked?" and it makes me laugh. He was always a clown, he always got made fun of for his music and was always seen as someone who took advantage of other's talent.

Diddy was never respected. He only got a pass because he discovered Biggie. Biggie had the talent anyway to be a success and would probably still be alive if he never met Diddy.
 
I always thought of him as a poseur clown.
I wasn't aware of Biggie being "forced" to stay in L.A. instead of flying to London.

Along with Tupac's death that's some Game Of Thrones shit right there.

I can't even imagine thinking it's a good idea to be Biggie and drop by a rowdy LA block party at night; or any kind of celebrity. This is without the obvious feud and death threats on top. Totally insane.

His entire personality is to be an asshole. Super vindictive, even making a show of going at his own son. I can forgive a bit of him being a crack dealer because of his upbringing but I don't think he ever left that kind of mentality behind.

Let alone stuff like having a shit eating grin in interviews about this Documentary and calling Diddy his "favorite villain." A documentary that shows him beating a woman, and is about him being in general abusive.

He couldn't care less about victims here.

Yeah, 50's been milking that Diddy drama with that smug-ass grin, acting like it's his personal victory lap. Kinda gross when real victims are involved

But let's be real, the doc actually does solid work putting the abuse front and center and letting people speak. He's absolutely chasing clout with the trolling, but the exposure still matters

Calling him a piece of shit ignores the bigger picture. Fair take? Mostly. Too harsh? A bit. Dude's a survivor who stayed in full attack mode long after he needed to. Some of that armor saved him, some of it just hurts everybody around him now.

Sure, but it's not like 50 directed the thing, and we know what his motivations are. Credit should go to the documentary director not 50, yet there his is parading himself around for his victory lap as you say.

I mean like I said I can forgive him for being a crack dealer and give him some leeway in general. Maybe a bit too harsh, but I'm just sad to see yet another example of propping someone up for being a huge asshole. Being a giant troll surrounding a case of abuse isn't something I think people should be propping up.

In fact it's reminiscent of P Diddy, who had an entire TV series about how much of a fucking prick he was and was outright known for being shitty to talent, yet got that "legend" status... hell he was partly a legend FOR being an asshole.

50 months is a joke 🤣 but at least hes gonna do some time, unlike that Pedo at the BBC which they gave a kiss and hug too and sent him home
