Sigh. I can't help but give Fortnite some sort of a slap on the back for at least actually making really great additions into its core gameplay loop as they progress, but I just fucking hate how its success has made so many game devs and publishers chasing the money by copying its aesthetic and design and slowly causing the homogenization of gaming design and art style when it comes to third party games of all tiers.

Like, fuck. Fortnite legit looks to be the only Battle Royale game that continues to innovate itself in drastic ways (web swinging is cool af), but I just want it to die so there's a chance that games won't end up looking all like fortnite wannabes.
