I've got no problem with the idea of an "Accessibility Award" but it does make me laugh that they do a big show of announcing that one and then go "oh by the way Forza also won best Racing game" as an aside like it barely matters.

Aside from Action-Adventure, the Genre Awards have gone by as basically an obligatory task. Geoff just rattled off a powerpoint presentation of winners.

I actually prefer the unique categories myself, so I'm not bothered. Winning for falling into one category feels like a little bit of an outdated concept of award systems.

(Plus, what was the competition for Forza, Race with Ryan? This was the lock of all locks.)
