I think they hated him the whole time and he was a bastard. Most inner city people dont like cops anyways and he was the worst kind. A cop when he wanted to be but then also bad, but probably locked them up when it suited him. He was just a fucker and he finally had lost control.

Na I still love it.

But the best Fuqua film is Replacement Killers.

My man. RP is definitely an under-rated movie. The gunfights are so much better than modern bloodless CGI fests, Mira Sorvino is at the peak of her hotness, and Chow Yun Fat is always the coolest guy in the room.

TD has some cheese to it and the story is pretty unbelievable, but Denzel is so good in it, it makes the movie. He's having such a good time playing a villain and it's something I wish he did more.
