Crumpets: Breakfast or Lunch/Tea?

I eat clean, so personally wouldn't touch them. If I did, I'd eat them wherever the fuck I wanted. To hell with foods that can only be eaten at a certain time of day.

Yeah, they are not the best carb source, they probably have low fibre and micronutrients.

But I reject the idea that processed wheat (white flour) is unhealthy.

Sugar on the other hand, is not good for you. Unless doing strenuous exercise.
 
Breakfast with tons of butter. Not for trypophobics though.

I don't think flour is that bad. I make my own pasta with flour, plus do a lot of other baking with flour. I eat clean, but if I want a treat I'll always try and make it myself rather than buying heavily processed stuff.

Shop bought crumpets are full of added chemicals that your body doesn't need. If you want crumpets, make them yourself.

Guaranteed they'll taste better than anything you can buy in a shop.
