Her comment about the accent gave me goose bumps.
The SEALs all laying over her in a circle while waiting for the helicopters to arrive must've been an unbelievably powerful moment for her after months of enduring hell. Guys she's never met before willing to literally stand in front of bullets to protect her well-being. And she wasn't some high profile dignitary, just a humanitarian aid worker helping with a demining project.

That got me emotional man. Incredible stuff, horrible what she went through but she's still with us.
I hope those sack of shit bandits hurt like hell and felt at least something of the fear of the end that they put her through when they were bleeding out. Fucking subhuman scum, anyone who would kidnap and terrorize any human being, particularly an innocent aid worker.

Hell no, there should NOT be videos of how they do this because then it might not work again. Even the reporter mentioning that they picked a moonless night to do the drop is kinda giving that tactical advantage up.
The US probably located her though a combination of human intelligence (taking to someone who saw someone matching her description under some trees), electronic int (tracing cell phones), and imagery (scouring sat images to find possible camps). But the exact things that works should be closely held for several decades at least untilmthey are no longer relevant and the next batch of hostage takers can't benefit from open source knowledge (like moving her the night before a new moon in case of another air assault).
All we (and other potential bad guys) need to know is that she was rescued unharmed and the bad guys on site can't say the same. Even if the entire rescue story is BS and Ross Perot just paid her ransom and she drove to the airport in a limo, the STORY should be that she was rescued and the hostage takers were killed, to act as a deterrent to future actions. There is a reason why spec-ops writers like Jack Carr get their fictional books reviewed and seemingly simple stuff (like the name Delta Force) is redacted.
