The lack of info on God of War Ragnarok is concerning

I'm pretty sure this is not the type of information people interested in the series were asking for...
Oh, please…
Right. So starfield likely releases this year and gow2 is pushed to next year. One has nothing to do with the other
Yeah, what 60 seconds close to a year ago? That ain't gonna cut it. We saw a ton of gameplay for gt7 and hzd2 as well before they were both delayed. That doesn't really prove anything.

As for starfield, this has been Bethesda's marketing mo for their last several games. They don't do the big blowout until e3 the year of release. So just wait until June and you'll be sated.
Nope. Bethesda just recently confirmed again that starfield is releasing this year. Santa Monica studio hasn't said anything about gow2 since last June, close to a year ago. I think the silence is more concerning. This is not like them to stay silent.

you should be quiet, you don't want to embarrass yourself any further in the thread.

I get why Xbox players are upset I really do, but instead of taking it out on the sony guys on this site, they should head to Twitter and bombard some of those Xbox people with the same passion. Greenberg, Phil, the spin doctors like Eastwood and dealer, those are the guys you should be angry with.
How can you get mad at Greenberg? He is so cool.

Dunno what's worse it getting delayed or it coming out and getting snubbed for goty by Elden ring.

I said gameplay. I didn't count the seconds but guessed it was 60 seconds.

Starfield you'll be blown away in a few months. Just be patient
Lol
So yeah, agreed. You will look pretty silly when gow2 gets delayed. I've been saying it would be delayed WELL before the Starfield delay. So be quiet.
Still embarrassing yourself, I see.
What are your sources supporting that ragnarok will be delayed?

You would love for me to give it up. You're afraid that gow2 will be delayed and you want to shut down anyone that says it will be. I don't have a source. It's a gut feeling. Give it up. If it releases this year you were right and I was wrong. And vice versa if it does get delayed. Give it up.

Idk if it will or won't. All I know is you were just as adamant about Starfield not being delayed. Now that it is, you won't shut up about God of War.

Yes, you'll eventually get something right and I'm sure you'll throw yourself a parade, while ignoring all this crap your "gut feelings" were wrong about.

So let me get this straight:
You got absolutely nothing.
All you have is hope.
And you know why you're hoping? Because you feel it'll make Xbox's year less barren in comparison, but guess what? It doesn't matter and nobody besides massive fanboys care about that. There's plenty of games to play and a delay won't change a thing.
You'd care less about this if you actually play games, which I'm guessing you don't.
If GoW2 gets delayed, so what? The game will still be great when it gets released.
It might get delayed, yeah, shut happens but I'm not going to make a fool of myself and make a blank statement based on hope for console warring like you did.
So, I'm saying it again: be quiet. Stop embarrassing yourself.

You know all you have to say is that you want GoW to come out this year so you can play it.

60% of the posts lately are from people complaining about this place being SonyGAF anytime anyone dare says anything good about PlayStation.
That little tactic worked very well for them the last few months and now they won't be satisfied until we're all gone. The way things are going they'll get there soon enough.
I don't get that impression, but even if they did, that would represent the market wouldn't it?

Honestly, it feels like conversation about Microsoft/Xbox takes up a lot of air when you consider their market share and the releases they've had this generation. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Big eye opener. Reading GAF you would think MS is the absolute #1 in everything, the trendsetter and market leader that everyone looks up to, PC/Steam #2, Sony distant #3 and doomed to fail if they don't put their games on PC and subscriptions Day 1. Nintendo is dead last 😅

Dude. Look at my posts. I've been saying at the same rate that gow2 would be delayed. I have not ramped up my rhetoric. Don't spread lies.

Hope? Gtfo with your console war rhetoric.

I still haven't played the first game! Lol

Why losing to Elden Ring should be seen as a snub if the game is a massive success? I mean, does it really matter that much?

Think you ment to quote me. No reason really I like god of war and don't care for souls games. Would just hurt my feelings

You're not fooling anyone, we all know you're massive warrior.

I would have said Starfield had the biggest chance as a wild horse, but now that that's not coming, Elden Ring is probably an easy shoe-in to receive the most GoTY awards at the end of the year.

Not that it matters that much. Game A receives 100 GoTY awards, Game B receives 60.

Game B still got the GoTY award from 60 publications. It's still a game of the year for multiple publications.

It's a pity for Starfield that it's now delayed to 2023 and Zelda will trounce it for GOTY totals. If only they could manage their targets it could have been different. C'est la vie!

I just want the game and don't care if it gets GOTY or not. Bottom line: I get to play two of the GOAT this year.

They recast Atreus to make him sound more similar to the first game.

IIRC the original voice was the same kid actor from the first game, naturally his voice grew over the couple of years. But I guess fan feedback influenced them to find a different actor ?

Concerned? What makes you think I'm concerned? I'm speculating. Like a lot of us do. Nothing wrong with that!
You wouldn't even be in this thread if GOW wasn't a Sony exclusive since you don't play those games. Your whole post history is you downplaying and shitting on Sony.

Why don't you go speculate about other random games you don't play? 🙄

Still the same actor. They didn't recast.

He does. I preferred the more mature teenagy voice from the reveal trailer.

I think they just modulated his voice to match the last game's tone a bit more. It'd be needless and expensive to record two audios with two different actors a year apart when apparently there is no need for it.
they digitally changed his voice to sound younger

Also seemed like they redubbed the thing instead of just modulating the same lines.

I dunno, the facial animation and capture seems like it was made for the original voice, the new one doesn't 'match' the facial acting with the tone of the voice, if that makes sense.

It's a weird decision either way, the original voice was fine.

But do you still want the game to come out this year?
He is not interested in that. He just confirmed that he hasn't even played the last God of War, and Ragnarok is a direct sequel.

He doesn't care about the franchise or game at all, and we all know why he is in this thread. I say ignore him.

I mean from Lognor Lognor point of view if he buys the game later it will be cheaper. That way he can enjoy both games at a lower price. That's the advantage he will have if it comes out this year. Which is why I was asking him if he wanted it to release this year.

lognor has been banned a few times for console warring. Last time was actually terrible. He hasn't learned it seems. He's one of the biggest warrior on the site.

So this is the argument you hypocrites are going to use when the game gets delayed? Will be grand fun when by 2023 Xbox ends up with more 1st party games than PS.
Tom Cruise What GIF

How is that even gonna work? Since these consoles launched, PlayStation has released 11 first-party titles so far (not including Ghost of Tsushima, Death Stranding Director's Cut, Uncharted Remastered or Spider-Man Remastered).

And there are at least 4 more games that will be released by the end of 2023 (not even including Spider-Man 2), pushing the total to at least 15.

In comparison, Xbox has released a total of 5 first-party games in this period. Less than half.

Unless you are suggesting that Xbox will release 11 new first-party games by the end of 2023 (lol!), how will "Xbox ends up with more 1st party games than PS"? Or were you just trolling?

With Activison/Blizzard and Bethesda, it's possible. That's a lot of studios and a lot set to release in 2023. Also your math is suspect.

And…? Why does that matter? If those games are that important, we can always buy Xbox consoles. Such a silly thing to argue over lmao. But I suspect they won't be releasing games that I like and I won't have the time to play them anyway so all is good.

11 games per year? Okay 😄

Show me where I was your wrong.
I never said 11 games, that's your number. Also, using your own numbers, 11-6=5 delta so not sure where you are getting 11 from. Even if it doesn't happen by the end of 2023, it's inevitable. Xbox has so many more studios now.
