Release date is June 1I saw this awhile back, but I have no idea idea what costumes or content will be in the DLC pack. Did they ever give a release date for this?
Release date is June 1
Virtua Fighter is the game that started 3D Fighting games. Every single game took lessons from it.How is Virtua Fighter?
Tell me you don't understand Tekken without telling me.Even though Virtua Fighter 5 is more than 15 years old, it is still much more elaborated and complex than anything else released to this date in the genre.
Tekken is great, but virtua fighter is definitely a bit more complex to play imo, but who cares, it's not like he name dropped Tekken, you come across as a little insecure.Tell me you don't understand Tekken without telling me.
I mean anything released in the last 15 years is basically name dropping, unless he's referring to DOA lolTekken is great, but virtua fighter is definitely a bit more complex to play imo, but who cares, it's not like he name dropped Tekken, you come across as a little insecure.
Haha I guess he is calling every fighter outI mean anything released in the last 15 years is basically name dropping, unless he's referring to DOA lol
I was just trying to be snarky, I love me some VF and pray we'll get a new installment. The genre basically consists of one series at this point, and that hasn't seen a new release in 5 years so it's pretty much all but dead.
Haha I guess he is calling every fighter out
DOA is terrible(liked 2-4 at the time, but hated 5 & 6)
I would probably argue accent core+r is more complicated myself then vf5fs myself (does anyone actually like doing clean hits?!)
& Tekken is probably single handedly keeping the 3D fighting game genre alive though, looking forward to Tekken 8, it's got to be due soon surely, really enjoyed watching Tekken at combo breaker last weekend too. (Wish they would atleast give it a res boost though or try do something about rematches being faster)
My answer has nothing to do with Tekken, but we can compare VF to Tekken if you want.Tell me you don't understand Tekken without telling me.
The bolded kinda proves my initial point; to my knowledge there aren't any fighters with bigger move-lists than Tekken, VF included. That's one of the main complaints new players usually have.Tekken has nice shiny effects and you can make ridiculous juggles, move-lists are tiny and technically the last entry was a joke on console, with low resolution and long loadings.
I will let you check then, as this is wrong. The bolded kinda proves my initial point; to my knowledge there aren't any fighters with bigger move-lists than Tekken, VF included.

Here is a quick example on pretty similar characters :
Jin has 81 entries including attacks, combos, parries, throws, and sample combos etc... https://mspkvp.github.io/tk7movespretty/
Jacky has 94 entries and this is only the base attacks + combos, see other tabs for the full movelist : https://virtuafighter.com/commands/list?ver=5fsa&chara=jacky
Kage has a lot more etc...
And this is not even talking about how subtle and elaborated the impacts and animations are, compared to other series.
Wtf is wrong with you people? You think games are some kind of religion that should remain pure or some shit?
Vanessa : 242![]()
- Hwoarang 130 entries
- Yoshimitsu 140 entries
- Lei Wulong 167 entries
I mean, if you list every five-move string as five different entries, you'll naturally end up with a longer move-list. And Tekken usually doesn't list neutral attacks or situational attacks like backturned, opponent down etc. Using the same methology for counting moves as VF, Jin has more moves than Jacky by the looks of it, going by the links you provided. Even then, a character like King has 180+ moves listed, but yeah that is cherry-picking, but there are more characters with 150+ moves listed such as Eddy or Yoshi.I will let you check then, as this is wrong.

Yeah, it actually seems pretty close indeed. I thought there was more of a difference to be honest. But fair enough, they both have similar amounts of moves per character.
there was a Boiler explotion?Live-action Heihachi is not amused.

The first one is crazy! Imagine Street Fighter, but in 3D with a moving camera and polygons.Tekken really loves a crossover. Never seen a DLC quite like this before.
How is Virtua Fighter? I've never played any of them.
Thanks. The release date snuck up on me. I forgot all about it.Release date is June 1
