The world needs more small scale RPGs. Give me a 20-30 hour game and I'm happy. Not everything needs to be a 150+ hour behemoth (looking at you, Pathfinder).

I don't believe xbox will show anything exciting therefore xbox will probably show us loads of things that are exciting.
Surely it's time to show forza motorsport, fable and some the projects they've been doing for the last few years!
If not, sack the board as its pathetic xbox's game development the last few years, I've only been impressed with forza horizon and flight simulator.

You're in for a treat because there's a good chance we see gameplay from Starfield, Redfall, Contraband and Avowed among other things.

Agree on the rest though I'm highly doubtful on Fable making a showing of note besides some CGI trailer at most. Playground Games hasn't done RPGs before and we're still staffing up the team at least a year or so back. Probably a 2024 title. Hopefully Obisidan has something. They seem reasonably efficient.

If you don't have game pass or game pass ultimate do yourself a favour and look up Xbox Gold to GPU conversion. It is much cheaper.

I don't have any reason to doubt CDKeys, but I don't enter my credit card even on xbox.com.

Even I, a diehard PS fan, could not be more excited. Avowed, Contraband (No idea why, but the parcels of info here and there make it sound intriguing), and Hellblade 2 are my most anticipated for the showcase, with Forza Motorsport 8 and Starfield coming in in second place. More importantly, this will be our first glimpse into what current-gen only first party software for the SX looks like... Graphically, I expect Forza to take the crown. Turn 10 coders are no joke!

I just don't think entering your CC info on sites like that and gamesplanet is a great idea for security reasons. It's your decision though, but just my own personal case.

Neogaf favorite Jeff G. has stated in his show that MS mandated developers to have game play ready for their show, so it doesn't come off like a CG announcement fest like previous years show.

That's the prevailing theory. But people are also expecting some Forza Horizon 5 DLC content. So it'll be weird to release FH5 DLC and the next FM game in a similar window.
i-e at this point I'm not even sure if there's gonna be a new forza this year lol.
