According to Bloomberg, God of War Ragnarok game is currently planned to be released in November.

I've skillfully voted for 2023 in the first thread so that I can make fun of Team 2022, but didn't vote in the avatar bet thread.

I think it's hilarious that Sony hasn't even come out to be like, "2022." I mean, you don't have to give the date earlier than your original marketing plans, but some of these folks are having panic attacks, lmao.

I think keeping the date unannounced and people fighting over 2022 or 2023 release date generates lots of attention and discussions for the game. Viral marketing?

I was going to vote #Team2022 on the avatar bet thread, because I assumed the ratings board listing meant that the game was essentially done, but now I'm glad that I chickened out. This seems increasingly like a coin flip. Both #Team2022 and #Team2023 should be sweating, honestly. (Or not, I guess, since it's just a silly avatar on a gaming forum.)

Yeah, still don't really know what to think or believe. Something tells me Sony badly want it out this year but that it would be a real push. It's their flagship right now, needs to release in a good state.

Wouldn't be surprised if they're still debating it internally and definitely wouldn't be surprised if they push 2022 and it slips just before.

The dev at Resetera said the "it may very well slip" thing as well.

I wouldn't count on it yet personally.

edit: So release date announcement planned for later this month? That seems like a good sign.

HFW, GT7, GOW 2 all in one year?!?

Green rats need to stop being so bitter after the delay of Starfield and wishing every game to be delayed as a coping mechanism. Lol just go play more Halo until games drop next year 😆

So The Last of Us Part I in September, Forspoken in October (I think) and God of War Ragnarok in November.

Add to that everything that's already been released and everything else still to come (all PC releases and if VR2 is indeed for 2022), what a year for PlayStation!

Sony just needs to redo that video for the PS4 showing how to share games with a friend.
Just have a video showing them picking dates from an November calendar showing a scribbled out Starfield and pointing to the 11th.

11.11.22 would be some epic trolling. But sony is not fun so don't see it happening.

It's actually hilarious that you think they don't know this.
