GOD OF WAR RAGNAROK launches on November 9

Where is the gameplay trailer Sony

This is truly fantastic news, and not because I think I'll enjoy the game, but because I know I'll enjoy needling all the GoW fans about this game's limited enemy variety and re-used bosses...just like GoW 2018.

And then cross-referencing the people who jerk themselves silly over this title, but then spent their time and energy complaining about Elden Ring's occasional (and often optional) re-used bosses will be reason numero uno to browse GAF in November. God, it's going to be glorious. Nothing like fanboy blinders and bias to make the Holidays just come alive!

Now the questions are:
  • Just how limited will the enemy variety in Ragnarok be?
    • My initial read is: very limited...maybe a tad more than the paltry offerings 2018 provided, but nothing like Elden Ring, Skyrim, or The Witcher 3.
  • Will the dumb, repetitive, and decidedly shitty troll "boss" fights also be back?
  • Will there be enough cutscene QTE fights to make the manbaby fanbase bark like mad seals?
  • Will Alanah Pearce's powerhouse prose being spoon-fed to them via Sony's patented "walk and talk" narrative delivery be enough to calm the frayed nerves of Elden Ring players who just couldn't understand what was going on? Will it be enough to corral their easily disrupted attention spans, born and bred on Marvel movies and TikTok clips?
Stay tuned!

Resident Evil 4 Remake

Remaining 2022 and early 2023 looking pretty good for me.

Guess I'll just get digital download version. I don't need any of that junk and no disc anyway.
The Jötnar Edition is badass, has a textile map and ring and all. I want it!
But I'll go with the regular edition because I'm a cheap ass gamer and regular PS5 games are already $85 in Sweden.

I do hope Ragnarok give me better enemy/boss variety, I enjoyed GOW 2018, I even platinum the game but its piss poor enemy/boss variety was my biggest issue with the game.
Same here but lots of people talked about this so it was probably high up on their to-do list for Ragnarök.

Just stuff to take up space and I refuse to buy a vinyl. Steelbook looks good but no disc is a killer to me.

Same and I'm seeing people saying it on other sites too. Paying close to 200 maybe and not getting a disc yet the cheapest version is getting a disc is just stupid.

Bought the last one twice and never finished it, so I'm probably going to skip this. The old GoW formula was way better, as is Greek mythology.

What's worse is having to see these horrible avatars because of that bet.

Relax, Elden Ring is just forgettable mediocre game, no one saying that it's bad.

Agreed. Hope for massive bosses too, and the artwork for Fenrir gives one hope.
Yeah that too, definitely more huge bosses, more small bosses too, and more enemy variety, I'd like more logical ways to limit level traversal too, it always annoyed me that some rubble or small gap could stop Kratos when he could do wild jumps in quicktime scenes.

Emphasis on piss poor. Two megahit games that get away with murder when it comes to this:

GoW 2018
Resident Evil 7

Unforgiveable.

And you're what an internet tough guy looks like. Christ, I hope that's not you in your profile pic.

"Gonna take a badass pic of myself in my all-financed Jeep Gladiator, so I can post it on GAF. Who gives a shit if the interest rate was eighteen five. I'm a pussy magnet in this beast!"
