is Gilligan's Island worth watching?

I watched this show a lot as a kid, and I remember enjoying it. but that was a long time ago and I barely remember

normally I would just give it a go and see myself, but I can't find it on any streaming service so I'm thinking of buying it

idk why but today I woke up and had a random urge to watch it

You answered your own question with that gif…..

yes. Plus Mary Ann > Ginger

Also in before somebody says …. Mrs Howell>Ginger> Mary Ann

Great show, between that and Hogans Heros, I get nostalgia for this type of shows all the time.

My favorite show growing up. I'm honestly not even sure why they wanted to leave the island, didn't look like they were hurting for anything.

No job, beach all day, good looking women. I'm in.

I don't have nostalgia for much, but this show is an exception. I watch an episode every now and then and it really brings me back to my childhood.

Gilligan's Island, Leave it to Beaver, and The Andy Griffith Show are all old shows I loved as a kid that I still enjoy rewatching from time to time. I also love Three's Company but I didn't get into that one until I was in college back around 2002.

I watched Gilligan too as a kid. On reruns, I'm not that damn old of course. I remember watching a lot of Brady bunch too. I bet Gilligan is still funny.

I've seen it occasionally in syndication, including just a few weeks ago. It's one of those shows that I don't mind watching, but not really good enough to seek out.

As a kid, I always liked watching the intro. It was a little dark, a little foreboding. But then the show would start and it was all slapstick and giggles.

I love the show to death when I was a kid. I haven't watched an episode in decades. Lately, I've been really depressed and I like more feel good content especially from the 60s or 70s. I've been binge watching Three's Company which was always my favorite show even as a kid and it still holds up just as good. I still call myself cracking up hysterically at many of the jokes.
