PlayStation VR2 |OT| I heard it has a single cable. Is this true?

UPDATE!

I got the email that it's on the way.

UPS finally has status and it's in Louisville. Estimated delivery still says tomorrow on the PS page, while the UPS page says it will be provided soon.

He seems to be talking about Sony games on that reddit post, maybe the 5 VR games on the newly announced State of Play? They said "partners" when refering to those games though, do they refer as "partners" to their first party stuff?

Few people have dpd notices. A lot of us don't. Not really sure what to make of it.

Maybe PayPal should do the same for my outgoing payments. Preparing to pay.......authorised......in transit.......completed.

Tomorrow will be good day for most i hope the OT does not die because most posters would be playing with they new VR headset. I want to read some feedback from normal people because reviewers have always an incentive to say good words for the one who provides them work.

Twerps are saying UK/EU bundles aren't going out because of problems with the COTM codes. No idea if there's anything to back up these claims but a lot of people that have ordered the bundle haven't had Shipping notification As of yet. Lots of people incl. me haven't had shipping notification for the charger yet either Despite Sony warning that the charger might arrive first. Maybe there is a fuck up and chargers are now on the back burner while they scramble to rectify the bundle issues.

Irritating if true (glad I didn't go for the bundle) but if people kick up a fuss I can see Sony compensating them with maybe a free game Or discount code.
 
Sony already covered themselves with a long shipping window. They didn't guarantee launch day delivery. It was like a week or something.
 
Finally got both of my packages updated. VR set is in Atlanta and charger is in Jacksonville. Seems they're going to make it on the 22nd after all.

Frustrating if true, mine is the bundle. Not sure how there could be an issue with a code though? And even if there was, we'd prefer the device and the code correcting via customer service
 
This guy is a hardcore PCVR guy and says that PSVR2 is like having an HP Reverb G2, but with an OLED screen, better colors, and better FOV and edge-to-edge clarity. I'm assuming the better edge-to-edge clarity is do to Eye Tracking Foveating Rendering.

He said the Frenal Lens does have god rays and the sweet spot is small. So there's trade-offs.

Just got an email from Playstation reconfirming tomorrow's date for arrival. And they stressed that a signature will be required despite what UPS states.

Either make sure you're home or re-route the delivery to ensure you get it when the driver arrives. You can also pay the $6 for them to come later on in the day or a different day altogether.
 
How are you guys going to store your PSVR2 when not in use? On display? In a box? I thought I read somewhere that it's best to keep it in a box to prevent dust on the lens or sunlight but would prefer to keep it on display

I'll probably get a stand to hold it and charge the controllers at the same time. Otherwise I'll keep it in a drawer.

Another odd thing for me is the charge to my cc went back to pending for some reason.
Not looking good for tomorrow that's for sure

I also got the email about 3PM. Mine is also in Louisville and says it's on the way I'll be playing tomorrow after all.

I was convinced it wasn't coming.
 
My order has been shipped from both places I ordered from (Amazon and Best Buy).

My charger stations haven't shipped yet though.

FINALLY got an update via UPS tracking saying it's in transit. Already in the same state I'm in so hopefully no issues tomorrow. Charger station coming later I guess - still says label only.

The video by MRTV was very telling - I'm a VR enthusiast and that guy makes me look like a newbie. He knows he's stuff. I of course will be posting impressions as well. Super excited.
