1000 New NeoGAF Accounts for March 2023

Hey all I'm also new. Sometimes I think I knew about this place and the other forum, but I never quite got into checking it out. Is there a thread I can read up on the lore of NeoGAF and the other place? See what I've been missing out on all these years?

Once there was NeoGAF, the place to be for gaming. everything was fine. we had GIFs. Lots of GIFs. Sony GIFs, Nintendo GIFs and even some Xbox GIFs. All was well. Then something happend (dont know exactly what, also didnt really care) and then there was a split and they told us to leave and go to a freshly founded new place called "ResetEra". Everyone thought that it was the new place to be, but that place became more and more crazy. Suddently you couldnt talk about cyberpunk anymore just because there was a ad in the game where it was a girl with a dong. And if you said something against ultra leftist stuff you get instantly banned. Only the perspective of particular people on that forum was and still is allowed. The founding Idea they told us was that Era wanted to be a place to tolerate everything, but quickly it became a place where it tolerates nothing. That forum is not about games.

NeoGAF is about games.

and GIFs.

According to the data compared to the other place, Gaf is up over 2% and reee is down over -10%, good trajectory.

Also Gaf tends to have older users, more females, and is the preferred site of choice in Sweden for Swedish gamers. also more organic searches.

Yes, at the current rate 2023 could be the year of Gaf, then back on top passing reee in 2024.

Welcome, all. Some of my favorite moments on the internet have been in this place. Nowadays, after everything that happened is even more important to me, even If I'm not as active as I used to be.

Please note that it is customary for new users to buy a month of premium and gift it to each legacy member in alphabetic order that replies in a new user thread. In alphabetical order(s) used on neogaf, you would play numeric user names at the front, starting with 0-9.
