I currently own a Vivo X80 pro but I've owned several Huawei, and Xiaomi. Their cameras are really good. Will probably upgrade to the Xiaomi 13s ultra.

Anyone seriously into mobile phone cameras check out this video. This will be my next phone!

Only chinese phones I've owned are a couple Oneplus phones (5T+6T). They weren't bad to be honest. Today I don't think I'd buy a chinese phone. Oneplus isn't what it used to be. Oppo is basically the same as Oneplus. Xiaomi seems to be quite popular but not sure I'd buy one. It's nothing to do with it being Chinese. I do have a Xiaomi scooter and the app on my phone. I just don't want a bloated phone with shit I can't remove. There are other chinese brands but I don't know about them because I haven't tried them and they are more budget focused. I'm more likely to buy a new premium iPhone, Pixel, or Samsung.

Just bought a Redmi note 11 pro. It's hot af. The white version looks amazing, it runs fast and it can do a full 0-100 charge in less than an hour. It's so good I don't even care if Xi is tracking my biometrics.

Yeah Xiaomi's MIUI is my favorite, followed by Huawei's Harmony OS, and last is Origin OS.

my oneplus failed its touchscreen after exactly 2 years with minimal use, no drops, almost 0 gaming time. So think ill pass on chinese phones from now on. Previous samsung phone still works perfectly. Will go with that if I can save some cash.

What other features? Super fast charging, Huawei has developed a new glass that is tougher than corning victus glass. The latest Xiaomi supports USB 3.2 and gets up to 2600 nits of brightness it also has new cooling system to keep it from overheating.

Which Chinese phone have you owned what issues did you have? The only "issues" I've had are the Chinese bloatware that can be removed.

My moms Xiaomi still works fine. I bought her the phone around the same time I bought mine and she has heavy use, always in the kitchen with high temperatures/humidity. Mine always in my bed. Also a lot of ppl buying all those small cleaning robots from xiaomi. Huawei pretty much got replaced entirely by xiaomi in my country. I'd rather go with Samsung but all this AI talk and the recent controversial talk about faking moon photos using AI makes me wonder if pictures on phones will soon be real pictures or just AI enhancements of real life. But I am going offtopic a bit.

Yeah, got a Xaomi Redmi note 10 pro, bought it 2 years ago, works fine, i'm not missing out on any features and i use the sd card support that a lot of more expensive phones don't give you now, i don't use their mui software though, but no complaints so far.

I don't see anyone in the US making unique phones anymore, they all rush to make the exact same damn phone with larger cameras. My favorite phone to this day was my MI 9.
