So, PS5 Pro. Got it.

I guess that's the September event? Not what I was expecting I guess.

Third party games might be cool, like Suicide Squad deep dive #2.

Another garbage ass show with no 1st party announcements. And media will still give it B+ ratings because the media is full of shills

It is cleary a very low-key State of Play, primarily geared towards fulfilling marketing contracts.

It's fine, I guess. Something is better than nothing lol.

The next 8-10 months are so packed for PlayStation exclusives, that (unfortunately) I don't think we're going to get a big Showcase anytime soon.

Imagine working at PlayStation as a marketing person. Getting paid big bucks to do literally nothing. Must be the life.

Going by that description this is gonna be a snoozefest, they really need to get their shit together because we're quickly approaching 2024 with no road map whatsoever.

They don't have anything to show, all of their studios are working on GaaS games and those games take a long time to produce.

Side note: is there any confirmed first party game for 2024?

I've never enjoyed one of Sony's digital showcases.

Feels like they don't have their finger on the pulse for the third parties they show, most of which always look like garbage with one or two bangers thrown in the mix.

Really strange.
