Lol they always do one in Jan-Feb. Many including myself have speculated we'd be getting one at any moment since the start of this year, as they haven't given release dates for a handful of anticipated games (Stellar Blade, SH2 etc...) and that they'd give FF7 Rebirth some more spotlight before launch, as it's exclusive.

I believe the recent ongoings at MS pushed this SOP forward. Sony is petty like that. Historically, any opportunity to grab more mindshare and momentum, the two things Microsoft can't purchase, is an opportunity Sony jumps on.

In reality, Sony always has SoP's near this time of year. Why people are searching beyond that is anyone's guess.

With Halo Infinite being slowly (and sadly) abandoned just as it was reaching its quality apex, I'm gonna need a new FPS with a battle pass and cosmetics and all that shit. I really like having just one of those in the rotation. Destiny slowly battered me into jumping ship, Halo has been excellent, but we're running out of good content soon, I expect.

So let's go Concord!
