I'm not getting a PS5 until the Pro launches (hopefully in the fall) but I've already preordered a physical copy of this game because the developers are absolute chads
 
Good looking characters in gaming goes all the way to the beginning. And that wasnt even the characters themselves because gaming graphics were pixel blobs. But you could see it in box cover art. No different tham movies, romance novel covers etc...

You got the good looking stud or meathead, and the sexy slutty girl.

The sorceress in D&D games was always the traditional good looking woman wearing a sexy robe showing cleavage. That's what gamers want. Nobody wants to imagine a sorceress looking like Bea Arthur.

What I love about this is that he's confidently unapologetic about it. This is the way to handle it, when you act like you're ashamed of what you've done. The sharks smell the blood and will attack until you bend the knee and submit. When they see that you won't, the move on to the next target that they see is weak. Because what they are after is the sense power they get when they get someone to grovel in front of them for their approval.

Kim added that when looking at a character in a game, he wants to play as someone who is "better-looking" than himself.

"That's what I want," he said. "I don't want to see something normal; I want to see something more ideal. I think that is very important in a form of entertainment."

There is absolutely no body build that could realistically convey that a person is beating up giant alien monsters if you want it to be realistic.

It's just a matter of taste, I think and I believe is fair that your preference lies elsewhere.

If only my generation wasn't built on the idea that the consumer demographic are immunocompromised idiots who need protecting by the gentle giant of media corporations. It's a competitive free market. If tits and ass are really making gamers cry themselves to sleep, let the sales show it. If side shaved sassy black lesbians are what we all want, let the sales show it. If it's truly an unwanted or uneeded part of our cultural literacy, the sales will go down, the returns will go down, and people will stop making those types of games, because who wants to make unsuccessful stuff?

Progressives aren't really into progress so much as forced evolution. You can strap a newborn into the pilot's seat on a helicopter but it's not progressing things without the years of flight training.

You are wrong. And that's why your only argument (I'm being generous here) against the game is the main character design. By doing this you are dismissing every other aspect of the game, from gameplay to monster design, to music. The game excels in all those. I do care about them. You are projecting your prejudices over the game and worse, over the people who are interested in it. And that's annoying as fuck.

I won't even bother with the other preacher in this thread talking about realism, mentioning a game where a tiny girl fights with bare hands against a freak of nature. Realist my ass.

Yep. At the end of the day it's just a form of aggressive panhandling. The people that get it the worst are actually the ones most receptive to it.

If the game sucks then its suck and no sexy design can save it......2B's designs might attracted some people to play Automata but that game got its positive reception because people enjoyed the story, gameplay and music.

Ok, I will go into some social justice stuff for a bit which I usually don't. Thanks to devs like shift up and many other asian anime/ game devs. Asian women manage to build a career which they love around cosplaying sexy and good looking girl chars. Sexy female chars in anime or games empower asian women both in money and health. They make a lot of money out of it doing what them and customer like to see, also they eat and live a lot healthier, do plastic surgeries so they can always keep themselves a top form as long as possible, in the long run the asian girls will be able to live a lot longer due to far more sustainable lifestyle and motivation to keep themselves in top shape and looks. I bet many of these women are happier too when they look into mirror, seeing themselves still look pretty good well into late 30s, especially satisfied when compared to some western girls who think they could just do whatever they want to their body.
