I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife
Another thing I noticed is that we all have different vocations!

Oh yea its a easy to miss thing, a random guard does pretty much warn you "hey this is gonna be tough you may wanna rest up in that inn up there" and thats it, thats the entire warningYeah, but that really isn't much of a "point of no return" warning. I was certainly not ready for the end-game boss fight so I reverted back to the inn save and figured out how to get back to the camp using that ridiculous gondola lift thing with all the annoying harpies. Don't really care for this final area much, honestly.
I know that one already but the pawns ia is very random and half the time they do nothing, i just prefer do the thing by myself. You can also order your pawns to gather stuff by looking at it and using the Go! command. Usefull for when there are lots of gathering spots nearby.
Nah this list is incomplete, the other games list every single thing and studios worked with individually, the dd2 list makes no mention of other studios or technology partners, QA, or orchestra. Even the first game list more than 600 people this way.So apparently, DD2 had a team of just 392 people working on it. Compare that number to other Capcom games like SF6 (~1800) or DMC V (~1200) and it's obvious that Capcom doesn't really give too many fucks about this series, even after all the success of the original game.
Just two main quests away from the end.I just opened the magic door in Bathal and am being told to go volcano island. How close am i to the end?
The end is on the other side of the island. There's stuff to do there but nowhere near as much as the rest of the map. You'll at least want to do the dwarf quest at the beginning and the quest at the hotspring with the guy asking for drinks though.I just opened the magic door in Bathal and am being told to go volcano island. How close am i to the end?
Lol. Capcom sure as shit don't like to explain some of their bizarre design decisions like thisSo, there's an option to open and close the visor of the helmet from the inventory screen.
Found this out after 140 hours of playtime.

Just found the Sphinx for the first time after 75 hours of gameplay.
I dont use photo mode for games but Capcom's design on the Sphinx is just out of control, had to take a snap.

I found them all quite clever and entertaining. Except maybe two of them... since one of them completely filtered me and the other one requires you having a very good memory.Hopefully the rest are fun and clever as well
That might be something else. That sounds more like a stamina dumping ability. Celestial Paen dumps all stamina at the end of the spell. Arc if Might too. You cand stand by them if you pay attention and hit B or O to "cheer up" thats the prompt. Like when you run out of stamina and they help you. It's the same thing.Ah so that is why one of my pawns (not my main) keeps holding her head, staggering and/or slumping after battle. Is it a question of just swapping her out/throwing her off a cliff?
Nipples are bad. But I got you covered, bro. NSFW.Gotta ask........why no nipples?

I mean they cut out Brontide. A whip made out of Lightning. Pretty clear they didn't care too much.So apparently, DD2 had a team of just 392 people working on it. Yeah, they got rid of way too many spells. Hope they end up adding them later on even if it's through a DLC expansion.I mean they cut out Brontide. A whip made out of Lightning. Pretty clear they didn't care too much.
That's why I'm saving my criticism. The game won't be complete for another 2-3 years.Yeah, they got rid of way too many spells. Hope they end up adding them later on even if it's through a DLC expansion.
Yeah they nuked Mage/Sorcerer Spell list. No Dark Magic. No Gicel or Miasma which is IMO a crime. OG Frigor with a upwards Ice Spike is ironically used by Lich enemies and they also get a circular Fire AoE which I assume is just DD2 version of Comestion. No channeled spells. NO GRAPNEL.Yeah, they got rid of way too many spells. Hope they end up adding them later on even if it's through a DLC expansion.
Did you get to the post game? And I'm done, actually finished the game, the last boss was easier than every other Dragon in the game ffs, was to be expected though, the last couple of hours are very good though, story is non existent but yea overall I enjoyed it, I'm not likely to stick around for the end end game, but a solid 8/10 for me in the end, even with the shortcomings I detailed in this OT
I'm not likely to stick around for the end end game
No you didn't.actually finished the game
The True Ending? I got all 3 endingsDid you get to the post game?
oh, then what do you mean with this? The True Ending? I got all 3 endings
once you've seen the true ending, the game's over and you have to restart on NG+, no?I'm not likely to stick around for the end end game
The True Ending? I got all 3 endings
I thought it was like Souls games where theres optional stuff later to do, upgrade my armor etcoh, then what do you mean with this?
once you've seen the true ending, the game's over and you have to restart on NG+, no?
Yea, theThe one where your pawn turns into a bird and helps you take out the dragon?
Ok. You're good. It was hard to tell reading your initial post.Yea, the
Unmoored World
Yea I didn't want to allude to it too much as its a nice surprise that should remain unspoiledOk. You're good. It was hard to tell reading your initial post.
Horizon Zero Dawn feels so tame compared to this.
I think I need a palate cleanser before jumping into another open world. Maybe some EDF.
I like the encounter design in Elden Ring a lot more as enemies are thoughtfully placed, whereas Dragon’s Dogma 2 is very… strange. It’s really absurd how every major road used by oxcarts is loaded with monsters. There’s also a lot more enemy variety, and I’m seriously disappointed in that aspect of Dragon’s Dogma 2.So, many will laugh at me, but I think going back to ER will as well. I just love the physics, climbing enemies, a full party, the spell effects, how often you can get the high ground to work for or against you. It's going to feel stiff in comparison and I already bought the DLC but besides the monk like attacks and seeing the new lore and enemies, I am not as excited for it anymore.

But you’re not wrong… in Elden Ring, hacking away at the feet of an enemy whose choreography I can’t see because the enemy is too large to fit in the screen made me hate fighting giant bosses. The fire giant was the most egregious example IMO. Fromsoft’s combat system falls apart if you can’t read what the enemy is doing and react accordingly. It’s why they usually made their enemies a bit larger than human size, so you can see animations better. I loved Elden Ring a ton, but the oversized boss fights were dumb as hell. Malenia was a fun fight because it’s completely fair and you can see everything.
I’ll definitely be playing Shadow of the Erdtree, but all I’ll be thinking about the entire time is how it’d be nice if I could climb monsters and stab them in the face.

Hell yes. I live for staggering bosses. My Dragon’s Dogma 2 character is essentially the same as my Elden Ring character. Muscle-bound, minimally clothed, sweaty filthy barbarian who crushes his enemies, sees them driven before him, and hears the lamentations of their women. Ultimate power fantasy type shit. That said, finding out how to stagger the ever living hell out of Elden Ring bosses was tip top stuff.
Agreed on moving around on the enemy being frustrating sometimes, have encountered that of course. Generally though, when you are scaling a monster you are often safer than if you were on the ground and have time to adjust whereas in Elden Ring, the inability to see enemy choreography is infinitely more frustrating because enemy attacks are way more lethal. I had more trouble with the fire giant and elden beast than I did Malenia, and it had everything to do with monster size. This can be a problem in DD too. When you are climbing and the camera doesn't keep up with your position you can't figure out where you are on the monster. Or the monster's body is blocking your view. Sometimes you can even fight the game with what direction you want to crawl on the monster. Trying to climb up the neck but it climbs on top instead. Same issues with DD1.
Endgame isn't as bad as I thought it would be (hearing about the time limit was concerning), but one thing that is undoubtedly a step back from DD1's endgame is that there is no Ur Dragon equivalent in DD2. That was a fun endgame fight to participate in.
Did you finish the Sphinx riddles? If not...Story Progress:
Just killed the Giganatus, kinda cheesed it and used the Arrow of Unmaking I got from the Sphinx. Pausing for the night.
