I straight up love Legacy of Kain Blood Omen and Soul Reaver 1 & 2. The reason why I bought a PS2 was because the SR2 was cancelled for the Dreamcast.

I played the OPM demo disc with this on it more than I played a lot of full PSone games.

Was kind of disappointed in the final product though. Maybe the first example of misleading bullshit I experienced in gaming. Back of the game said like 60+ hours of gameplay, took me less than 20 to fully do everything. And of course that ending.

Tied for favorite game of 1999 along with FFVIII and Silent Hill. I replayed it so many times. Sadly, the last time I tried to replay it (probably when it hit PSN via PS3) I just couldn't do it. It had aged so badly, those fucking L/R shoulder button camera controls. I was REALLY disappointed to see the rumored "remake/remaster" turned out to be just another re-release dud. Damn shame.

SR1/2 were so damn good, The Best entries with the best protag in the franchise, hated Defiances ending. Wish they would finish the story though or revive that Dead Sun game, for its time that game looked pretty ambitious. Maybe one day LoK will get a real ending

Same! Was there for the midnight launch. I don't think to this day I've been as blown away by a leap in graphic fidelity as I was when I first sat down and booted up SC. It was incredible.
