Path of Exile 2 Early Access |OT| An Exile like ARPG.

I seem to suck at this game at times, but I'm too stubborn to try to grind gear/resources/levels.
I try to get around the challenges with skill, which is a huge departure from typical ARPGs.
The nice thing is that shit works. Seems bosses especially have timing windows where you can charge up a big attack.
This game with warrior is basically a 3rd person action game, definitely has some souls vibes to it.
 
Leaving a ring that gives +1 skill slot and increased cast speed on the guild stash. Might be cool for a mage.
 
Those trials to unlock ascension are a pain in the ass.

And my 17 month old turning on my 2 other controllers while I'm running the trial isn't helping... lol

Is there really no other solution to the stuttering other than changing to the closest region? Nearest for me is Singapore. I'm teleporting all over the place lol. Decided to end it early tonight, not really fun when you freeze mid skill and resume with already dead enemies on the ground. Seems like its affecting consoles worse than PC? On PS5 btw.
 
Leaving in tbe stash an unique shield that grants x2 stun thresold while guarding. Don't see it being that useful tbh.

Btw, we never addressed this here…Fellow exiles that play the game for the first time, or not, what was your first reaction seeing the passive tree?

I strongly recommend that when a new league starts in PoE1 ( i think is in january-february) to try it so see the differences.

BTW, this is the Atlas skill tree in PoE1

Damn, that's pretty good! I use a huge bonk stick for my weapon swap single target DPS. I could use that one.

I put some other jewels in to replace it. Not as good of course, but it's something.

I feel like such an idiot. For the last 24 hours (played about 2hrs) I've been wandering around the beginner zones in act 2 looking for an entrance to start. I figured out last night you use the map in the caravan :messenger_tears_of_joy:

At least I gained two levels!
 
Okay, I finally got my account issue sorted so I have a question before I jump in:

If I buy the $99 pack on PC and the $29 pack on PS5, all of the currency and skins/effects are valid on characters I create on both platforms?
 
Got that frost wall spell and Jamanra died quickly. It seems good for 'brutes' because it explodes right away, and freezes the enemy, to which I follow up with freeze curse and bomb.
I was also looking forward to the "Cast on freeze" skill to try things out, but now I am 'lost'.

I think what you buy with the coins is shared, but not the coins themselves.
 
Rentahamster Rentahamster btw my char is Hanabi_GP if you don't mind adding me to the guild. I don't know the game very well yet to know if an item is good though, so forgive me if I end up adding trash rares :p
edit: I play on PS5 and PC, not sure if that matters

That's fine, when I add stuff to the guild stash, I also look through it and cull items that I think are redundant or not as strong as other stuff we already have in there.

Don't you worry about that. I'll worry about blank.

Yeah, that is what I got the impression of when I asked chatgpt. So you can play the characters on both platforms but I guess stuff like skins just don't show up at all on the platform you didn't buy it on.

No idea, I haven't bought on either platform yet. I would like to know how stash tabs work as well. ChatGPT says they don't transfer between PS5 and PC, but I am not sure how that would work in practice.
 
Can someone update me on whats happening with Cash shop points from buying EA.
I can see 300 points on Pathofexile.com but 0 points when i'm in the game.
Also i can only see a old POE 1 character on the website no POE2 character.

If i buy stuff on pathofexile.com will that work in poe2? Like guild stash etc

Sony won't allow MTX purchases bought on another platform to be accessible unless you have pull like COD or Fortnite. I suspect they will relent on this as it will only hurt their bottom line if the game becomes the behemoth in the genre.

You should see it appear ingame, sometimes it doesn't show right away:

Your points will be on your other account. Cant figure out why the MTX you own don't up across PC accounts i assume its bugged just now.
 
Got 2 orbs of alchemy in the same area! Wonder if those spawn more often now, during the rest of the game (like 60 hours) I've only gotten another 2.
 
Dunno who had the idea to make you take 2 portals to get back to town in the last zone of act 3 but I hate him.

Just heard you loose 15% experience when you die at lvl 70.
That and being one shotted is pretty cruel if you ask me. I know people want the game to be hard but being one shotted is no fun imo.

ahh damn appears i have two accounts for some reason, same email address and password but diff #numbers. Does that mean I'm out of luck? I will have to start new character on the correct # account or will purchases work across my two # accounts?

You can email support, explain the situation, what you want, and request them to sort it out for you.
