Path of Exile 2 early access starts on Nov. 15th

The quality might be there with the cosmetics but the price was too. Can't speak for other regions but in Australia, there are a lot that cost $50+ which is ridiculous for one thing. I'm never going to spend that much for cosmetics but I probably would pay $10 for something cool and I guarantee I'm not that only one that thinks that way. I guess they have someone that works it all out but I always believed that if they sell something for less, more people would be enticed to purchase and in the end they would still make the same amount of money or potentially even more?
They have pretty extensive data at this point I think, for what works for them. They do have very expensive things in there no doubt, but the utility ones are pretty reasonable. $50 for a helmet I agree, not something I would get, but some people do so they cater to both. Most people don't buy standalone MTX raw, they usually get the supporter packs that come with MTX and then they get an equal amount of points to spend on whatever. I too think it would be better for them to have 5 MTX at $10 than 1 MTX at $50, and I would be more likely to spend more as well, and I have spent hundreds lol

The MTX though in general has really gotten interesting over the last couple of years, like an MTX for the ring slot that keeps track of and shows you how much and of what currency you have picked up. Before it was really just stash tabs and slightly different armor and effects etc.

What do you mean by that?
If you have spent over $500 in total on Mtx you would get access without buying the new supporter pack. People are saying that number because the last time GGG put it a beta they gave people that spent over 500 total on PoE got access to it for free.

Learning about no Templar at launch was sad. I am psyched to see that class! Give us the best rendition of a holy class, GGG!

Anyway, I just saw this on the wiki:
  • "The game can be paused while playing solo. You can hover the mouse over enemies and status icons to check their infos while paused.[6] Other players in the party can unpause the game. Opening the passive tree automatically pauses the game."
I hope that this is still true for launch! One thing I hate about games is not being able to pause since I game at work. I used that so much in D3 and D4 did away with it.

Delay hurts, but playing POE1 for the first time these days.
It's really quite good and if you have ARPG experience it's relatively easy to go through the campaign. I hear endgame gets very painful without any build guides, but let's see.

I feel like the PoE 1 integration is a bit of a chain around their ankles, and I wouldn't blame them if they chose to abandon that, but hey, kudos to them for wanting to stick it out.

I'm glad they are trying to make everyone's purchases carry across. Would really suck having to rebuy the same shit you already had. I mean, I've already had to do that just for PoE 1. First on PC, second on console to play with my brother because accounts weren't cross platform so my tabs on PC weren't available on PS4/5.

TBH, before EA date was announced, I did not expect to get POE2 this year, so this delay does not upset me at all. I am happy to let them cook for as long as they need.

My only concern now is the next POE1 league. Is it also delayed? Simultaneous launch of POE2 and a new league would suck.

There are so many other games coming up...I wouldnt even bother when they delay it till next year. Take all the time you need guys!
