You shouldn't let internet tell you what game you should and shouldn't like.

For me I'm just not in to Assassins Creed games or most Ubisoft games and also didn't liked Ghost of Tsushima.

I personally much bigger fan of Sekiro and I'm looking forward to new Onimusha.

I personally like what I see for the most part and I've been waiting for an AC game set in Japan for many years. There's a few games like this or Horizon that GAF almost collectively has a real hate boner for reasons I can't explain. Just do your own thing and let others jump on the bandwagon if they please, I'm personally buying it assuming no major technical issues.

Nah dude, i need to see real world gameplay, not nitpicked one against a single enemy, all the latest ac games are way more focused in group fights with 5 to 10 enemies, i want to see how the combat flow in real life application for lack of better words.

Personally, the game not having precanned death animations with no ragdoll and more than a single weapon already put it a couple of step further than tsushima.

Must be fun assuming what dozens of millions of people think.

It's not like tsushima and the latest ac games have similar sales and scores

Also, recent ac games? Dude combat in past ac games was even worse than the new ones, NOBODY played old ac for the fucking combat, even a mediocre souls light is better than whatever shit system they had in the old ones, the only thing they did better were the fatality animations that got worse in the last 3 games.

Look i'm not saying the latest ac have good combat systems, origins and odissey are ok at best and i can understand people liking tsushima more, i just don't like how basic it is, the monoweapon, the theatrical precanned death animations that get boring after 20 kills and you are gonna see them for another 20 to 40 hours, the stance system that is just a damage bonus and deep as a puddle, the shit enemy variety and ai, the shitty gore, lack of fun skills like the sparta kick or the bow skills that turn the bow into a shotgun or sniper etc, ac is way more varied in term of weapons and skills, it's not even a debate.

I doubt this is a more controversial than people hating on horizon combat that outside of gaf bubble is considered one of the best combat system out of any open world.

It's gonna be streamed live after the story trailer releases. Still like 6+ hours to go. I'm looking forward to see more myself, I liked the recent short clips.

GOT has a higher Metacritic than any recent AC game, was nominated for GOTY, and would probably have outsold Vallhalla if it released on all 3 platforms day 1, even tho it's a brand new IP

That's why i said similar, but I added stuff to my post to better explain my stance.

But even with what you say, we are not talking about 60 vs 90mc and 20 mil copies vs 2 mil copies, you can understand why saying that i'm the only one is ridicolous, right?

Animal crossing sold 20 mil copies and got great scores, it doesn't make the game any less of a turdish non-game for grandmas in the yes of many people.

I swear to god I open the Ubi stream, I see them trying to climb a tree but struggling with the controls so they do the weird circle walk, finally climb in the tree and guess what? The tree has goddamn yellow paint to point the way. THE TREE HAS YELLOW PAINT.
