Unlyftable rapper suing Lyft because she wouldn't fit in the car

Anything bellow an industrial forklift will have trouble picking up that thing.

I don't use lyft or any similar service so I dunno how all this works.

If it's his car and he doesn't specifically get compensated for using said car (as in, separate from regular wages) then what's the issue? Plus, didn't he cancel the trip? She didn't lose any money.

People are also saying she has an OF page, but I wouldn't research that if you want to live.

I truly hope this person loses. We don't need to bend over backwards to accommodate every lifestyle. If I weighed 600 pounds, I would not expect to fit in every car or movie seat or stadium chair.

Then wondered how much money it will cost to repair the car suspension.
She's not heavy enough to do permanent damage for one ride. The car can carry at least 4 normal sized humans and she's probably equal to 3. It would have been worth it to see her get in and out.

She should collab with the "can't put down the cup" rapper that snoop was roasting.

Being a land whale (body size) is a protected class in Michigan, so this might actually succeed.

American auto manufacturers are missing out on a key demographic here, fat slobs, of which there are a ton of. We need a car for the Americans of Today!

Are you a fat slob? Are you tired of shoehorning your magnificent corpulence into "full size" sedans?
Introducing the Ford Blob, designed to meet the needs for today's America!

I know it's very accepted to hate on fat people, but I think she's got a case, tbh.

The car could take the weight and I would presume that she could fit in the seat and as the lawyer pointed out, is this really different to other forms of discrimination? TBH, I'm not sure why the driver refused the fare, it wouldn't surprise me if there was more to it.

Driver should have let her try to get in. Start the ride and start racking up fees for time.

No I don't think she could have fit. She is 600lbs. That is like 3 normal people weight. She can't fit into most cars I'd say.

Well, if Lyft don't settle with her out of court, and extenuating circumstances don't come to light, it won't take long for photographs and video of her arriving at the court emerges. If she's smart, she'll get someone to driver her in a car that's the same model, year and colour as the one that she was refused entry to.

And how are they gonna achieve that?

Well, I'm assuming that she can get in and out of the car and that it's not some sort of unique custom vehicle.

If she can't then there's no point in pursuing this action and I assume she has some sort of insight into that.

It's really not clear if she can enter the car or not, many people in this topic don't believe it's possible.

She needs a Uhaul or a forklyft.

His car already sounded like it was struggling, shit would have broke down.

If the bitch can't fit, you must acquit !!

There are two hurdles here, fitting in the car and buckling the safety belt. I THINK, she could probably squeeze herself in, but I just don't see a standard seatbelt accommodating all that.

You don't have to wear a seatbelt in a public transport vehicle like a bus or taxi.

I had friends that would order Ubers and put 3 kids in their no car seats needed. Its "ride at your own risk"

Lyft will cave and pay her. The Driver didn't do anything wrong except not give us the video of her trying to get in the car.

Discrimination? This bitch thinks she's Rosa Parks... if Rosa Parks couldn't fit in the front of the bus.
You should see her lawyer. Dude looks like a spring break roofie rapist :pie_roffles:

Tried saying "discriminating" her (morbid obesity) is the same thing as discriminating someone if they were black. :sneaky:

I never use taxis or rideshares, but the fact that they wouldn't require seatbelts is mind blowing to me. I would think that would open the door to lawsuits galore.
