GTA 6 Trailer 2 Actually on December 27 or Developers Just Trolling
GTA 6 Trailer 2 hype is high, with the Christmas season further fueling the hope for some kind of GTA 6 reveal by Rockstar Games, as trailer 2 or screenshots.

"The new theory says that Rockstar Games will reveal the trailer on 27, 2024, and this has its origin in the Twitter posts from two Mission Designers working with Rockstar North. The two posts actually showcase some sort of Rockstar merchandise like a Sweatshirt and a bag, with Rockstar written on it. The fans believe that either the Rockstar developers are trolling or this could be a real hint for the fans. Digging down further into the posts GTA 6 Countdown has revealed "There's also a Florida hotel name written down and a number that takes you to a dealership called '27 Auto' Sales on Highway '27' with a Waffle House nearby, which was seen in the leaked footage. On the same road, there are 2 locations named 'Jason' Deli and Villa 'Lucia'. Rockstar also has '27' posts on Instagram". So, all this adds up to December 27, 2024, as the reveal date for GTA 6 trailer 2, but all this is actually a liitle vague. The only coincidence that can be seen here is, that the two Mission designers from Rockstar North posted on the same day, December 19, 2024 and what makes the whole thing even more interesting is a casual display of merchandise from Rockstar Games in the two posts."

More I think about it, I kind of like the 27th. Get the trailer out there and let people watch it with nothing else gaming wise going on.
The 7th is when CES starts and Nintendo could very easily announce the Switch 2 shortly after CES ends.
I'd say 50/50 actually happening at best tho.

they won't do anything between christmas/new year. if we were getting a trailer we'd have some sort of count down by now. my money is on mid/late january or even february before we get anything.
and at this point i think we can forget about 2025. 2026 looks more likely now unless they are going to market and release this game in 9-10 months which i highly doubt. probably an early 2026 release.

Not one fucking theory in the last 10 years turned out to be true when it comes to RockstarGames. Every announcement was random and nobody had a clue when it was coming.

I'm also expecting news around late Jan/Feb.

This shit sounds diabolical and exactly like something R* would do.
My younger brother still insists on a 2025 release date and even wanted to bet on it against me. Would be easy money but I don't want to part the poor fella from his newly earned money as a 18 year old youngster.
He also believed the moon phase announcement theory in November with that GTA Online picture so he is still a bit green behind the ears…
I am getting a bit nostalgic to the times when the world was awaiting GTA V and sometimes even GTA IV and people were going crazy for every little bit of info.
But it wasn't that bad for GTA IV at least, iirc that even had an announcement at the Microsoft E3 presser.
RockstarGames created such a phenomenon with this series, it just fascinates me.
Even if they decided not to do any marketing on this game and shadow drop it, it would easily become the best selling game of its generation.
Nobody likes how they milk GTA Online to death and they came up with some questionable and shady business practices by monetizing that game but when a new GTA is coming up then R* gets all the trust because they earned it.
Even for a series like GTA I wouldn't have thought in 2013 that more than 11 years later the online mode of GTA V would still be the current one, getting content updates every 5-6 weeks and printing them money like crazy, but here we are.
All I want for Christmas 2026 is a new GTA.

I just hope the wait will be worth it. GTA IV and V, while good games in their own right, just can't top San Andreas for me, and I hope GTA VI will.

Well, according to the comments I am seeing there it's now "confirmed" nothing is happening. Apparently in the past he claimed he was part of GTA V DLC and then it didn't turn out to be true. I would assume the actual VA of Michael from GTA V wouldn't spoil the surprise, but well.....who knows. Don't get your hopes up though.
