Definitely not.
They just took the logo with the release year and the color palette and made their own artwork with the help of AI out of it.
If you compare it with the first official artwork it does not match the style Rockstar chose for GTA VI. And Rockstar always sticks to a unique art style for every one of their titles after they've chosen one.

true it seems like AI

although i bet you Rockstar will have an official artwork that has Jason and Lucia in a car doing a drive by, similar to this

I‘m kinda worried GTAVI will be fundamentally the dame as GTAV but with better graphics and more bloat. Don‘t get me wrong, GTAV is a phenomenal game, but because it‘s so successful I doubt R* tries to reinvent the wheel. The jump from IV to V was a big one, three characters, instantly switchable between them, a bigger city but also a vast landscape with a lot of vegitation, and the ability to fly airplanes. Better multiplayer to top it off.

But I‘m afraid VI will be a GTAV in Miami. Just like what Ubisoft is doing with their Assassins Creed games, it‘s basically regurgitated games in another setting.

I just want better physics than GTAIV, which was a step down in GTAV.

Nah, that's not the rockstar way and being two generations removed technologically should allow for many improvements. The only concern for me is the lack of Dan Houser writing the plot, not that GTA ever had great stories but the dialogue was usually very funny. In any case GTA 7 is good 20 years away after that so no point worrying.

I've been playing GTA V for the first time and it looks so good at times on Performance RT(base PS5). The lighting and art style choices really shine in night time, I love how the city and car lights look from a far distance for example. I think GTA VI will be insanely immersive. I just hope that they put more thought into details. If they have a forklift then make it possible to lift pallets. If I shoot some smaller parts on vehicles then make it have a reaction. Make ALL lamps destructible. Make all special vehicles have more functions. A firetruck should be able to extend its ladder and have me climb it. I should be able to load on cars on a car carrier by controlling the ramp.

They probably did think of those details but keep in mind that GTA V is a PS360-era game and they were bound by the hardware limitations of that time.

Yeah, that's true. I'm very surprised that the foundation was so good that it's still a great game today. Some other games feel old even with new shiny suits. I just hope they have focused more on those things now that consoles have more power and not only on graphical fidelity.

That‘s exactly what made RDR2 so bad. Their love for details made RDR2 seem like a cowboy simulator rather than a game and frankly, nobody asked for shrinking balls on horses.

I cry about Xbox and hate PlayStation.
I would love to have a skateboard in the game which you actually can use. Also Drug dealing minigame like in Chinatown Wars, i mean why not?
that would be nice, i also hoping they have some sort of "infinite" random encounters in the game and also updates of new features/items/ encounters in the game by rockstar, but i highly doubt it.

As a SP only person, i love the world of gta V but sadly there is nothing to do.

Its a Latino couple in Miami - As common as a tree in a forest. Anyone who has an issue with that is straight up racist, not just anti woke.
Yeah people need to learn when to pick their battles, not everyone who's in a game and isn't a straight white male is "woke" lol.

Oh, that's actually why I loved RDR2 so much. Well, not because of horse balls, but because it aimed for simulatorness in some regards. I actually hope that RDR3 goes even further in that aspect. I loved the animations and slower gameplay.

But that's for RDR, GTA is a completely different series. I just want there to be more interesting physics and interactions. I don't need to see someone's pet's balls reacting for example, but maybe have one of those cement mixer trucks actually have cement in them that I can pour on cars. Otherwise it's just a truck in another "skin".

Are we expecting a new trailer this coming week?

I'm not. I don't think they are ready to fully commit to a 2025 launch yet so they are going to wait a little longer. I'm expecting new info and/or trailer around the next investor call. Hope I'm wrong and we get a shine new trailer soon.

Literally any mission in any game ever that makes you go to any location you could reductively describe as this

This is lazy criticism
You didn't get the critisism, it is not lazy.

He critisized GTAV mission style where you walk from one PREDETERMINED point to another. You just follow a strict path. It is bad, handholdy linear mission design.

Good games (like old GTA's) just gave you an icon of an end goal and thats it, rest is up to you: how to reach it. and what to do to accomplish your goal.

Let's see, I think there's a decent shot we will get one.

No I did because you literally just described it in a reworded version of itself. Every mission that requires travel in every game ever the location is “PREDETERMINED” by the developer.

Lazy criticism. Try again.

Was just thinking how our ancestors were fighting every second of their day to just survive...meanwhile we have enough comfort that we waste time to theorize on how many holes there are in a door on a trailer of a game that contributes with absolutely nothing to the enjoyment of said game.

You also know what I'm talking about don't pretend to brush it off. Literally every GTA and Red Dead Game has the same gameplay loop.

Go to point A collect amount of random objects, get caught in a shootout and escape to point B.

Nothing new here and I want to see Rockstar try something new.

I criticised the gameplay of GTA already in 2010. But i love GTA only that you won't get Rpg like objectives.
But GTA also has many pluses like the driving physics are fun and the Radio is fantastic, makes the world really come alive. Also the writing is witty.
