Please not i think psn was down for like 2 weeks during that ps3 era debacle.

It was down 3 weeks or 24 days. If that happened now they would loose a ton of money. Imagine not being able to buy digital games for almost a month.

I starting to think too there's something more going on. The really limited communication and the length of the outage suggest something worst. Best case a degenerate breaks everything internally before leaving. Worst case some hackers got access to a lot of data and they are trying to find how to block them before restoring the service.
In both case, they are probably working hard to make a stupid response and don't pay shit.

This is bad but what makes it worse is the radio silence from Playstation. I think most of the upset people are worried about if this is or not another big hack situation in Sony servers and the lack of communication doesn't help in their favor.

I'll miss some stuff on PS but still have my PC, and that's fine by me. But Sony should give official statements by the hour or so to reassure the customer as this is plainly disrespectful.

Oh, and BTW guys change your passwords when things go back online and remove payment methods if possible and freeze those just in case as if it's another hack you'll be prepared for the worst.
