I was playing some this morning. PSN being down and no response from Sony so far other than a generic "some people" "might be" experiencing issues is still a bad thing. While I understand they have to sort it out, it is allowing speculation of another hack and fear to start spreading.

Ya know what - it's funny, but considering everyone dumps on NSO I can't recall a single outage like this on Nintendo Switch despite them having a larger user base. Not been using my Steam Deck enough to know if it's ever happened on Steam.

Xbox wasn't hacked. There was a DDoS in 2014 that hit both of them by Lizard Squad, but Xbox never had anything like the 2011 PS hack or this.

All of those were working fine the whole time for me, could even download the MH Wilds beta. No access to games that need PSN though.

Patapon 3 being heavily focused on multiplayer and releasing around this exact time will never not fuck up my brain.It was down 3 weeks or 24 days. If that happened now they would loose a ton of money. Imagine not being able to buy digital games for almost a month.

serious. work your bollocks off all week, get home on a friday night to your £389-£699(!) console where you pay £60-£120 ANNUALLY just to play online peer to peer via your your own internet services to find you can't chill with your holmies all friday night and saturday and the kicker is sony then treat you like a mug, treating their own consumers with absolute distain and cant even be bothered to provide a single update?
