Been checking almost every day for an update. Seemed a bit odd that we were so close and didn't have much info about Early Access. Where is this from?

Can't wait to finally play it tomorrow.
 
I played Wreckfest 1 since day one (it was still named Next Car Game) and I ended up putting almost 400 hours in it

Mostly multiplayer, it's just so funny. So this one will be day one too.

I dint even know it existed until I saw a best car game thing on Ign and they gave a 9 , I said fuck it ill buy it on ps4 , I fell in love hehe, bought the next gen update for ps5 and bought it on steam
 
I watched a little bit of it. Are they really gonna sell this tomorrow? Its so barebones. This is more like a demo and not an early access. There is not even menu music.

But they have the first game with tons of content and this is basically the same game with a little better gfx and destruction... I dont know i think this ea or whatever they call it is super disappointing. I wasnt expecting the same amount of content as the first game at the start but come on man, Its like a tech demo

yeah really, I was thinking about that earlier , why the fuck is it a early access game? they already have the foundation with the 1st one!
I'm guessing they made a shit ton of money with the early access with the 1st one..
 
I've read some opinions from reliable sources about the environment being less interactive than in the first game, including things like having more indestructible obstacles. Not a good sign. Good destruction gameplay should be the top priority, not offering better graphics at the expense of everything else.

But hey, it's still "at least 12 months" until release, we'll see.

IM watching people play right now , looks way better than the 1st and there more shit going on
but hey, its just the early access
 
I'm OK with only having a few cars/tracks to start with. That's enough for hours of entertainment as long as people are playing online.

I know this isn't a sim racing game, but so many sim racers drive one car or discipline forever. As long as there's competition, it stays fresh.

Pretty sure I really only used 2-3 cars in the original Wreckfest and I have about 25 hours on it.

The content will come eventually.
 
great start crashed twice just changing the graphics settings
now I'm getting a fatal error , out of memory as soon as I boot the game!

It is, to me it's exactly how I wanted the 1st to be.

It's utterly bare bones mind you, I chucked them the £20 as I know they're a good bunch that pulls through, and it's a game I actually want to see finished

But just to let others know, aye, bare bones.
 
Yeah kinda normal it's early access! But 4 tracks and 4 cars , but yet I play a good 3h, it's so fun! Hopefully it wont take 10 years to finish the game! I would love to see a dynamic weather system and Vr ! Maybe a bit more dynamic background, birds , planes etc would be cool!
